Somehow, we came up with the most likely answer being "the bird is equal to or greater than the word" - which wasn't even an option.
Lol Don't you know that the bird is the word?
Hahaha I couldn't stop laughing reading that.
However, I disagree with WPM about the Swine flu thing, it is a big deal. The diseases we get, even the bad ones, we survive through either immunity or internal defense. But what if our bodies are exposed to something completely different, a disease that our immune system has no protection against, such as Swine flu? I know (virtually) no one on here is Aussie, but the Aborigines (indigenous Australians) died mainly from disease they had no immunity against like the cold, not from the European settlers, though the ones that were left were treated badly, and that was the same for everyone else.
When the Europeans came to Australia in their masses, they brought diseases into Australia that the Aborigines have never dealt with before, like the cold and flu, and died quickly because of that. Why was the black plague so big in Britain in the 1500s? What about the Measles, no one dies from that any more (in developed countries anyway). There used to be no defense against these, whereas now there is (though the plague is never seen anymore, far too dangerous).
Now we have a disease that changes that, a disease that we have never dealt with before, and they tested that it spreads easier than the cold and flu, which does make it dangerous. While it's been dealt with quickly, it shouldn't just be something to scoff at, though it's definitely not something for people to panic over, that's just silly.
btw, Australia has been lifted to Level 4 for Pandemic Threat Level, and we don't even have any cases here yet. It must mean something serious if all this is happening, since the government doesn't take the threat of national security lightly. For those wondering, 4 is high, 5 & 6 basically mean we are screwed, 6 is as high as it goes.
