(1) 'Pokemon Conquest' aka 'Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition' Coming June 18th [4/4]

Well, this is a good way to handle this. Removing "Nobunaga's Ambition" from the name of the game greatly increases its appeal to kids over here, since they have no idea what Nobunaga's Ambition is (Well, except for that rare kid with awesome parents).

I'll be picking this up eventually. "When" I pick it up will depend on how much $$ I have at the time.

1. Because they are just generally getting faster.
2. Because they want Pokemon Conquest to be released for 2 or 3 months when they release Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 Versions.

It's possible they want to see how well this game does in the US market before deciding to release it outside of North America/Japan. Japan does that with a lot of its games in deciding whether or not to release them; there are a lot of Japanese games that never get released over here because they wouldn't be that successful.

Don't worry; we'll do our best to make this game a success so that you guys in the EU can have it for sure :D

Hehe. My friend and I were thinking of ways in which it could be localized, and only one title really spoke to us: Pokémon + George Bush's Ambition.

No. Pokemon "Conquest" is actually a good game.

I'm impressed that they'll bring Pokemon + Nobunga's Ambition to America. The dubbing will have to be very decent and not phoned in... I hope it is just as good in English as it is in Japanese. This is a surprisingly decent spin-off for a series that is notorious for horrible spinoffs.
 
I'm interested in this game because it looks a lot like the Civilization series of games. World Domination only with Pokemon instead of military unit people.
 
YAY! It's coming to America!!! I was scared that they wouldn't bring it over, but the date it comes out.... I won't be in the states T-T
