"Darkai" is the ruler of time, huh? :p
And is it really based on a Spanish town?

Didn't realize that, what town is it based on?

Alamos town isn't really based on one particular Spanish town, but instead many different locations in Spain. Some places known to have been inspirations to the producers are Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. It's quite easy to see the similarities between these locations and certain features of Alamos Town.

I need to buy it before the prices go up. My parents always get kinda angry when I spend my money on pokemon stuff, but I don't care. This is my favorite pokemon movie and I need it!
Best buys discription was way off. :p

1. Darkrai is most certainly not the ruler of time
2. Ash and his friends already live in the Pokemon world. o_O
3. I don't beleive that the battle ever threatened the world, just Alamos Town... but I could be wrong.

Edit: Nevermind, by Pokemon's universe they meant Darkrai and Palkia. Which is still wrong, since it wasn't Darkrai's universe. >.>

xD Way to go, Best Buy! "Darkrai rules time"...

"Lawlzorz, why Dialga on da box for diemont? Darkrah roolz timezorz! LOLOLOL"

Crazy ol' Best Buy... I hope to get this one. I love the deities of Time and Space. (Still can't wait for Arceus, though...)

I paid 14.95 for the DVD at Target store... the computer didn't bring up any promotional discount for the movie.

Now that Target got their description right, I might go there to buy the movie. :p

dmaster out.

lol darkrai rules time... I must buy this DVD because it's cool ^_^
Cool Alamos town is based on Spanish places, aren't most pokemon movie towns based on other places? (ex. pokemon heroes)

Awesome. I hope I can get the movie soon.:)

Yes, most Pokemon movie environments are based on real places (at least from movie 5 on), off the top of my head, I know Alto Mare was based on Venice, Italy, the inspiration for LaRousse City was drawn from Vancouver, Canada, when designing the setting for movie 8 the producers visited many Europian locations for the movie's caslte and surrounding area, and many areas in Pokemon Ranger and the Prince of the Sea were based off of Italy (Rome, Naples, etc).

best buy description:This 10th movie in the Pokemon franchise finds Ash and his friends traveling through a Spanish village called Alamos Town, where they come across a scene of unexpected and mysterious devastation. The dark and unknown Pokemon named Darkai rules time, while Palkia rules space, and now that the two of them are staged for battle, the balance of space-time stands on the brink. Now, Alamos Town has been sucked into the Pokemons' universe, and if the town is destroyed, so is the world.

i believe when they said "Pokemons' universe", they ment the dimension that Palkia and Dialga came out of. but it is poorly worded. Plus, Pokemon is used in both singular and plural ways; much like the word deer. so, if they are talking about both Palkia and Dialga's world, they should say "...sucked into both of the Pokemon's world"...at least i'm sure of it.
ok, i'll shut up. no more grammer lessons from me.
anyway, i think Target at least knows what they are talking about and doesn't make so many mistakes. does Toys R Us sell the movie? if so, i can just go buy the movie when i get to get darkrai on Saturday.

Anyone else upset at the fact that there are no bonus features on the Disc?
PUSA is being very stingy with things. They made the worst Pokérap ever, they refuse to dub anymore ANA shorts, they keep on re-releasing old Pokémon eps into box sets and they still have yet to put any eps from BF onwards on DVDs.
Now from what I remember of VIZ, they tend to put about 3 eps on each disc, so BF and DP episodes better be in a box set.
