These advertisements are always so perplexing. With the introduction of Pokemon Formes being accepted/classified as "New Pokemon", you just don't know WHAT to expect anymore.
While I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Lugia and Ho-Oh were pulled off as the "new" Pokemon (weren't Chikorita, Totodile, and Cyndaquil labeled as such pre-HGSS?)... I have doubts about it as well. Just seems a little out there, even for GAME FREAK.
Outside of them, who knows. But speculation never hurt anyone. (Unless the hype hurts it more than helps, as with the case with certain a certain Flying Regigigas... haha.)
