August 23rd, or 8.23, is a very special day for me. Two years ago, I stumbled upon a place called Pokebeach Forums and registered on a forum for the first time ever. Since those two years, the person you see as Black Rayquaza or The ONE has grown and changed alot since that day. That day, I consider the birth of Black Rayquaza....the other side of me, most of you have been able to experience in these past two years. It's been a fantastic two years for me....from clans to art to the site I made....and I've been planning to do something special for this day for awhile. The collection of art (although small) is that something special....these are pieces I've been thinking of making for awhile. Theres a little bit of everything in there, with a common theme...me. I wanna thank everyone for helping me have such a great time being Black Rayquaza. So thanks! (w00t I'm t00 yeers oaddddddd!)

Congratulations B-Ray. I can remember coming to the Forums, about a year ago, and seeing the name "Black Rayquaza." And to be honest with you, I thought it was the coolest name. I was afraid to contact you, due to the fact that you would think that I was just another n00b on the Beach. Well, that all changed. I started becoming one of your best shop customers, and eventually register on PokeEarth, where you let me run the TCG section. And I really appreciate it. I talked to you on AIM quite a bit this Summer, and we each got to know each other! =] And to tell you the truth, overtime, you have become one of my best friends on the Forums, and it is my honor to be one. I really appreciate your generousity towards everyone, and I think you are a great role-model. I would like our friendship to stay that way, and I wouldn't change anything about it! =D Once again, congratulations and I really appreciate you helping me out and much, much more...
 
B-ray,I rember when you first contacted me,and I tryed to resist not to say something smart-alic!You've turned from a authorty figure to a true friend. That was just the beggining,the end,well I hope there isn't one.

Well... I guess I do owe some stuff to you. After all, without you I might not have all of the competitives that I do :p. Not to mention the artwork that I clearly like... like everyone else, we've had ups and downs., But hey, that's what it's all about, yeah? As far as I'm concerned, that's the way it'll be until either I stop playing pokémon and leave this place or you stop being so conceited all the time when you talk to me :p
 
My day is coming up in a week. :OOOOOOO Anyway, The ONE, I still love your work to this day, so I was wondering if you still had your Gyarados Avatar and Sig that you're willing to give me again. Sorry for asking it in this thread, but, it's appropriate. ;p

Congrats B-Ray! Like Tearsofan, I was also afraid to contact you. I thought you were to cool. xD

But then I got to know you through PC, and now your one of my best frineds on Beach and Earth.

BTW.....The art work here is AMAZING! Nice job=]

now that you mention it, "Rykeus" is almost 2 years old as well :p
