Any Half-Life fans?

Obviously you guys all like Pokemon, but is anyone here (besides me) a fan of the Half-Life series? If so, let's talk about memorable experiences and how much we want Episode 3 to come out already.

I'll start off: I was playing Half-Life 1 a while ago. I think I was in the chapter "Blast Pit", and I was on my way to flip some switch. As I climbed down a ladder, there were two zombies waiting to greet me.

I literally jumped out of my seat. The least they could have done was warn me...

I remember in HL2 where the headcrab people start climbing up the pipes and you're surrounded.
All you can hear was, *CLANK CLANK CLANK*

Scared the crap out of me.
 
ME TOO. As if Ravenholm wasn't freaky enough...

Did you know they actually have an achievement for getting through Ravenholm by only using the Gravity Gun?
 
These games seem amazing. I've been looking into them for a while, ever since I saw my cousin playing Half-Life 2. I found it so exciting and scary to watch, LOL. However, I fear that it may be a little hard to pick up if I start off with HL2. What do you think?
 
You could play Half-life 2 first, if you wanted to. You won't be missing much. All of the things you might not know about would be very vague things that the characters don't really explain. Aside from that, it's just a matter of preference.

I played Half-Life 1 several times before I actually played Half-Life 2 once, lol.
 
Oh god, I'm am totally a Half-life fan, One of the best games out there.

I'm waiting for Episode 3 so I can get revenge on the combine. (You'll get this if you played Episode 2)
 
^Oh, I get it all right. Dang Combine Advisers, rendering Gordon and Alyx useless like that...I hope there's some epic scene where Alyx falcon-punches one of those guys. That would be sweet...
