Hey guys, i once made a thread that asked for help making a golduck deck, and it turned out well.
I have changed it a bit, and last friday i got in top 4 in a sort of league cup. ( it was for fun )
But anyways, the point of the deck is to use starmie to get energy back from the discard, and attack with golduck. Simple, but i have changed it to hit for weaknes on decidueye, yveltal, (kinds seeing a comeback) and of course fire decks.

But here is the decklist.

How's the eveelutions working out? I play a golduck deck similar to this. I like how you adjusted to play with few items and removed vs seekers. I have found brooklet hill very useful to set up and recover pokemosns w.o. the use of lv/dive balls removing even more items and playing only 4 duve balls. The professors letter cought my eye. I think maybe one would be usefull but 3? Anyways. Seems solid. I assume golduck break helps with a bit more HP and eliminates the threat of getting stalled with an octillery up front as you can just move energy's to them. I would still play 1 float though.
 
Yes your probably right. Ill remove a professors letter and replace with a float.

Should i add Choice band?
 
I'm personally a fan of bursting balloon as it adds up to a nice 180 damage when you attack and attach a balloon to a golduck. So if you don't get lyssandred the opponents will receive 180 damage for a ko. Say tauros would get ko, killing you but, thats the idea. To 2 hit everything and just keep streamiing ducks and attaching balloons. Choice bands would also work nicely against solgaleo o metagross, two Pokemon's with very high HP. W.o a choice band/balloon/kukui you need 3 turns to kill it!! And they can play max potion on them. So getting that 2 hit on is necessary. A couple are probably worth adding
