1. Can you have 2 defending pokemons in same time? Few years ago I thought that defending pokemon is a pokemon in 1 on 1 battle with another pokemon. When one of them is discarded player who discarded opponents defending pokemon takes a prize card... BUT Typhlosion EX from Sandstorm EX set has a bit strange attack called "Split Blast" ---> "If your opponent has more than one defending pokemon you may do 50 damage to each of them instead"... I am totally confused around here...

2. I've read in some rulebook that for example if your pokemon has 3 energies attached and it needs 4 energies to retreat (retreat cost) that you discard all energies attached to that pokemon and retreat it without the fourth one?!
Also really confusing :)
2.1. Does discarding a Special Energy Card for needs of retreat cost counts same as discarding a basic energy card? And if you have Double Colorless Energy attached to your pokemon which has retreat cost 2 counts as discarding one or two energy cards? If discarding a Special Energy Card counts at all.

3. When you discard your opponents Lv.X pokemon (for example Shaymin Lv.X) do you discard both Shaymin Lv.X and Shaymin underneath it or just Shaymin Lv.X?

4. Can benched pokemons still use their poke bodies, poke powers and specialties? And can your benched pokemons loose special conditions when they are returned to your hand or your deck? (Blaine's Moltres -> Return Blaine's Moltres and all card attached to it to your deck) And are they loosing all of their damage counters?

5. Does putting your opponent pokemon into his/her lost zone counts as knocking out their pokemons (Do you draw prize cards)?

6. Can you evolve your basic pokemon into Stage 2 pokemon with Rare Candy? It says - Choose one of your Basic pokemon in play. If you have a Stage 1 or Stage 2 card that evolves from your pokemon in hand, put that card on your basic pokemon. (This Counts as Evolving your pokemon) - Can you play more Rare Candies in the same turn, and can you evolve your Stage 1 pokemon with Rare Candy?

More to come, its 5 am and I'm really tired ^^

1. The reason that some cards say choose a defending Pokemon is because there is a double battle format, where there are two active Pokemon for each player.
2. I don't know where you're coming from on this one, but if the retreat cost is 4 energy then you need 4 energy on the Pokemon to retreat.
2.1. The retreat cost just wants you to discard that many energy. So special energy like Double Colorless can count toward the retreat cost. If there was a Pokemon with 2 retreat and a Double Colorless energy attached to it, it could discard the Double Colorless for its retreat cost.
3. If you were to discard Shaymin Lv.X via knocking it out, then yes the regular Shaymin would go with it.
4. All Poke-Bodies are in affect unless otherwise stated like Bronzong MD's Cursed Alloy Poke-Body. Poke-Powers are only usable the way it's printed on the card. Whenever a Pokemon is gone from the active position (either going to the hand, deck, or bench) it loses all the special conditions on it. And if a Pokemon goes into the deck or your hand, then it is losing all the damage counters on it because only Pokemon that are in play can have damage on them.
5. With things like Palkia G Lv.X's Lost Cyclone Poke-Power, you wouldn't draw a prize card. But with something like Giratina Lv.X's attack, if the Pokemon were to be knocked out they would be sent to the Lost Zone and you'd get to take a prize.
6. Yes. You are allowed to use a Rare Candy on a Gastly and evolve it into a Gengar. You are even allowed to use a Rare Candy on a Gastly and evolve it into a Haunter. But if you read Rare Candy carefully, you'll see that it can only be used on basic Pokemon. You even stated the part that answers your own question about using it on a stage one, "Choose one of your Basic Pokemon in play..."

You can only have one defending pokemon out at a time. However, there are such things as 2 on 2 battles where you and a friend team up against two other people. That's where Typlosion EXs attack would come into play.

2. I've read in some rulebook that for example if your pokemon has 3 energies attached and it needs 4 energies to retreat (retreat cost) that you discard all energies attached to that pokemon and retreat it without the fourth one?!

You need to have all the energy required to pay the retreat cost if you want to retreat. If the retreat cost if 4 energy and you only have 3, then you cannot retreat. There are certain cards like Moonlight stadium that help lower the retreat cost of your Pokemon.

2.1. Does discarding a Special Energy Card for needs of retreat cost counts same as discarding a basic energy card? And if you have Double Colorless Energy attached to your pokemon which has retreat cost 2 counts as discarding one or two energy cards? If discarding a Special Energy Card counts at all.
Discarding Special Energy Cards count towards paying the retreat cost of your Pokemon. Say if you had a call energy attached to a pokemon with 1 retreat cost, you can just discard the call energy since it still provides 1 energy. As for double colorless energy, if the pokemon has a retreat cost of 2, you may discard the double colorless energy alone to pay for the retreat cost because it counts as 2 energy.

3. When you discard your opponents Lv.X pokemon (for example Shaymin Lv.X) do you discard both Shaymin Lv.X and Shaymin underneath it or just Shaymin Lv.X?
What do you mean by discard your opponent's Lv.X? If you mean knocking out the Shaymin Lv.X, and in turn discarding it, then yes. The Lv. X and all cards attached to it would be discarded. So yes, in your example, Shaymin Lv. X AND Shaymin underneath it would be discarded.

Benched Pokemon can use their pokebodies and powers as long as there are no restrictions stated on the bodies or power. For example, Glaceon Lv. X's body states that as long as it is active, then the body is on. If it doesn't state any restrictions, then you can assume that is usable on the bench. Also, your 2nd questions is a little confusing. Benched Pokemon cannot receive special conditions. When an active pokemon is sent to the bench, all effects on the Pokemon are removed. The only thing that stays is damage done to the Pokemon. If the pokemon is returned to your hand or deck, then yes, the damage counters are removed.

5. Does putting your opponent pokemon into his/her lost zone counts as knocking out their pokemons (Do you draw prize cards)?
This depends, Pokepowers like Palkia G's Lost Cyclone can potentially send Pokemon to the Lost Zone, but prize cards are not drawn in this sense. However, if Giratina Lv. X knocks out a Pokemon with Darkness Lost, and the Pokemon is sent to the lost zone then yes you would draw a prize.

Yes, you can evolve your basic Pokemon to a stage 2 with the use of rare candy. You are allowed to play more than one rare candy in the same turn on your different Pokemon. HOWEVER, rarecandy only works on basic Pokemon so no you cannot evolve your stage 1 into a stage two with rare candy. Note that with rarecandy, you can evolve Pokemon that you wouldn't normally be able to evolve right away if you just placed them down that turn.

More to come, its 5 am and I'm really tired ^^

Yeah, sorry for kinda noobish questions but thanks everyone for helping me...

Yes sorry if I read it carefully I can see that :) Probably because it was 5am ^^

And for the Lv.X question, I also found it obvious but I asked it because I couldn't find any rules about Lv.X's or Lost Zone anywhere, so I had to make sure, also about 2 Defending pokemons, I was confused about it that was my primary question for you...But I played 2on2 matches with my friend against 2 other friends for fun, never thought pokemon as a pair game :)
