hello. I haven't played in a while. I stopped right before crystal gaurdians came out. I was working on a psychic/steel/electric deck. Can anyone fill me in on what I've missed and help me get back on my feet?

Ok that helps. I do like metal a lot. Anyone know any good metal combos that I could incorporate?

Metanight/Saligross.
If you want a list for Saligross...I'll get it for you & send it to you via PM.

LV...
1. For someone who hate decklisters, you surea are friendly.
2. Metanight doesn't use Metals. Mercury does, though it's below par, but it's sure much more Metal-productive. Or whwatever the word is.

No need to air dirty laundry sir!

And I can say that Metanite DOES use Metal Pokemon. What are Metagross DS and Dragonite DS, sir? What are Metal Energies?

He asked for "based on" metals. At least, that's what I interpreted it as. You can survive with only δRE in Metanite. The others, like Sallygross, Metazard (sort of), MSN/-BC, and Mercury all effeciently use Metals as a wall, and Metanite is based upon the fact that Metagross can blast heavy with only 2 energies

Metanite is Runable without dRE or Metals, But Having Metal Abuse is just alot better.

Good Metalizers: Metanite, MSN-BC, Queen Variants, Raieggs, Sallygross, Flymencen and SMQ if Played good
up to decent Metalizers: Mercury, Metazard, MSN/Metalix, SMQ, Scizorgross

Here are a few tips that might help also:

Don't pick your starter Pokemon to be Metal, for a billion reasons:

1. New Metal Pokemon have still double Weakness against Fire. With D/P coming out there is a Pokemon in the set that does 90 damage for two Energy, smoking any Metal Pokemon.
2. Nothing is weak against Metal. At least nothing that is played. And right now Weakness counts, in every game.
3. Play Delta Pokemon, so this way there not weak to Fire, and other Pokemon may be weak to it.

Ok then I will probably drop the metal thing. Still are there any good metagross combos that would work for me?

MetaNite uses Metals.  4 of 'em. Not based on it, but if you want your Metagross to live very long, you're sticking some on there. You'll want it to live as long as possible, and against Metalix you put 'em on Dragonite.

Arcanine out.
