Changes to the Anime

We all have different views about the anime, so I was just curious, what certain changes would you make to the current season?

Also, why would you make these changes?

Change the characters around all you want, the show will still be horrible. If you want an example, just compare it to the BW2 trailer that was released a while back. The characters in that single trailer had personality and flair, along with amazing animation and battle scenes. And what does the regular anime bring us? Static, boring, and extremely annoying characters that show no sign of improvement over any period of time, along with horrible battle/attack animations that we've seen dozens of times over, and not to mention continuity errors in pretty much every episode. I understand that it's a show for kids based off of a game, but other game-based shows like Yu-gi-oh! (and Cardfight Vanguard, from what I've heard) manage to keep me interested season after season. Why? A decent plot and memorable characters for each season. That's all I'm asking for at this point.

Oh, and Ash/Misty/Brock 4 lyfe.

Have Ash finally win a tournament and have him stop acting dumb(needing a Pokedex for a Koffing this far into the anime? Really?)

How I would make the Pokémon anime:
Hilda, Rosa, Dawn and Lyra hang out with each other and their cute Pokémon. Rosa is energetic and pretty stupid, Hilda has constantly her head in the clouds, Dawn is very shy and emotional and Lyra is a tomboy. They eat cake and drink tea in every episode. They aim to become Pokémon idols. In every second episode go to some attraction (like a contest, festival, a beach, ...). Some small battle in every third episode. Sometimes they are joined by their mentor Elesa. After a certain amount of episodes they introduce the gen 6 girl as a younger girl and she joins the now indie-idol-status group and she becomes their little "mascot".

Well Yu-Gi-Oh was a manga at first. Then ZEXAL decided to ruin everything/

Anyway, they should just base the anime completely off the game with the two protagonists both being covered, like alternating between episodes, it could also give the game more variety as they could have more gyms.

That trailer was excellent, I don't understand why they don't try to make the regular anime look just as great. I guess we can always hope for the 6th gen anime to have this style, but something tells me that's not going to happen. Maybe it's some kind of technology limitation, but when I think of it, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense either.

My main wish for anime changes would be for it to get simultaneous releases, but that can't happen this season, so that's another topic.

In my honest opinion they should delete the current anime and replace it with one based off of the Adventures manga with the art style of the BW2 promotional video.

The problem with having the animation better, is they won't be able to do more than one episode a month, as creating something that well done takes time and money.

Even when the Anime deviated so far from the original manga, it still managed to be a decent show. And Zexal's not that bad. :<

I wouldn't care if it was one episode every 3 months, as long as they put a more time and money into it.

The reason why the Pokémon anime won't change is because the only function of it is to get kids into the franchise. (It's for kids and not made to generate BRD-sales so the production value doesn't need to be high.) They don't make, and won't make, the anime for existing (mature) fans, but to get fans. It's the sad truth.

A more mature spin-off anime with higher production values would be possible if it relied on Blu-ray Disc -sales, but can we expect that from Nintendo/GAME FREAK now after all these years? The B2W2 trailer gives a shimmer of hope though, as it could be seen as a test of what kind of reception an anime like that would recieve. Maybe we can see that happen with X&Y, but it doesn't look very probable. They need to understand that they have to pander their old fans once in a while too or they will lose fans over the time.

Weird, I watch anime with high quality animation released weekly.

It still takes them a lot more time to do than a week per episode. P:
