I think Max is 8 because he is not that much shorter than May and he is pretty good at watching battles but he did not battle much during Hoenn on our time so yeah I think he is about 8 or so.

The ages are messed up anyway. Just looking at how well-developped May is allows me to come to the conclusion that she's NOT 10.

The whole age system is way off. Like someone said in an earlier post they never do anything about birthdays!! But didnt they have a couple christmas episodes so could that be considered a passing year?

O thats right! hmm i dont know what the ages would be, lets say ash was 14, why would he start to hang out with a 10 year old girl?!?! but i guess they dont want to put to much depth into the show.
