Counter for Rampardos?

Contrary to the title, I'm not looking for a counter to Ramparados PL. Rather, my buddy is looking for a way to counter trainer-lock in his Ramparados PL deck. The only things he's come up with so far are Regice LA, or Blaziken FB. Is there a better way to counter Spiritomb/Vileplume that's not Dialga G(which is too clunky)?

Regice LA and Dialga G lvX are the best ways of countering Trainer lock. Rampardos dies from early game trainer as do all fossil decks which Spiritomb AR is good for (though not a common card itself) and Regice can remedy plus it can easily be brought out with Collectors/Bebe's/Comms. If you can set up 2 Rampardos within that time then you're fine. Plus Regice makes your Vilegar match-up slightly better as Rampardos is a T/S/S heavy deck, you can dump any surplus T/S/S.

Dialga G lvX just helps counter late game trainer lock which helps Rampardos, but Rampardos is donk deck which benefits from early game T/S/S usage.

Dialga g lv x is the best counter. I played rampardos 3 days in a row in Fl and went 4-2, 4-2, and 5-2. Just play 2 cyrus, 2 poke turn, and 2 crobat g. Level up the dialga, unload all of your trainers, then poketurn the dialga.

If vilegar is your problem, why not just run a Gengar counter? Ditto(LA) does a really good job at it. It let's you turn into their Spiritomb early game then start shadow rooming late game. I'd say run 3 of them and some rainbow energy.
