decoy Trubbish?

Yeah people play Tynamos. In Eels. Where its necessary. As here, it isn't necessary. If it isn't necessary why the risk? It would really only work with Terrakion EX/Terrakion/Mewtwo because that CAN play Garbo.
I'm just saying just because a card a donkable doesn't make it unplayable. It's worth the risk because of all the reasons I mentioned earlier that no one seems to look at.

We're looking at it. The thing is, there are very few scenarios in which giving an opponent an easy prize is actually that bad for them, and in the few that it is Catchering the Trubbish would be bad for them even if you had Bodor, so they won't do it. In addition, if they can Catcher KO the Trubbish, they'd very likely be able to Catcher KO the Bodor too on the next turn. If they can't, they're probably in a pretty bad position and either you don't have a threat worth giving up a prize to charge up, or you're going to win/be at a huge advantage anyway.

I don't really think it would work. People would catch on, and even if you did run Garbodor and attach a tool all your opponent needs to do is Catcher/ Scrapper it.

You have to remember that most of the time you know what your opponent is running before you play them, so I have no doubt that talk of a decoy Trubbish will start to get around. Besides, that one bench spot being taken does not look good.

For my deck, one bench spot isn't TOO much of a problem unless I face Empoleon. (Still running the Reshi-ex deck.)
I'm going to try this for now because I'm waiting for a few cards. (NV, Garbage collection)

Its a cute idea, but a bad one none the less.

You are spending one slot on a card that you need to luck into or you are forced to use resources to find it. Not to mention that as soon as you "fail" to find Garbodor, your ruse falls apart and your opponent will be on to you.

I think the waste of resources it could and does take, bench spot included, to pull off far outweigh any potential it has for, in the most extreme case , fooling your opponent so badly that they loose the game...

I played a game online where someone tried this on me. I'm running Darkrai/Hydregion, but when they failed to find Garbodor, I took it for what it was, a bluff and not a very convincing one at that...

If you want to do this bluff, don't actually bluff. Run a Garbodor as well.

Alright, I get this idea is garbage. In all seriousness, you guys have pointed out the flaws in this idea. A singleton Trubbish will no longer be run in some of my decks. Thanks for your opinions!
