DialgaChomp and the new format. New cards that are added/tested. It shall rise again!

It usually is extra, but you can't really afford to drop it. It's a priceless starter, and you pretty much need it throughout the entire game. And yes, I make it a point to watch the Gengar matchup. :p Honchkrow is sometimes good for the Gengar matchup, but I'd recommend using Skuntank G to kill them with poison after Remove Lost'ing for 100.

You already win the LuxChomp matchup. Deafen until you're fully set up, then run them over.

No problem. It happens. :p

well, i guess for a SP matchup, it will become a match testing who is a better player for most of the time. there is no auto win

Are you kidding me? Uxie X not extremely successful?? Drifblim FB=FAILED? ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Dialgachomp normally takes 2-3 prizes with chomp, 1-2 prizes with dialga. Who takes the last 2-3? That's right folks, drifblim FB. Bring it up, KO pixie (you should have flash bit the pixies by now), take a hit survive, KO another pixie, GG.

tc19920815-Correct. Many times it will boil down to what coimbination of techs you have, the skill of the player, and who got the better start.

Darkartisan- What are you smoking? Less prizes with Dialga G than Garchomp? Have you ever played this deck? The whole strategy is to tank, warp, heal, tank. Occasional snipe. Or snipe in between heal and tank. If all our decks were reliant on one card, don't you thinkk we'd know it? And yes, Uxie Lv.X isn't a complete success here. It's okay to play it if you really think you need it, but it's a hassle to get out. I don't care who you are, I will not believe you can sit here and tell me retreating is one of DGX's strengths.

Garchomp will be taking more prizes than Dialga. I don't know about you, but i've been playing Dialgachomp for the whole season, i'm not just some bandwagon scrub who just hopped on the hype train. I have writted good articles about it. I've tried every single tech there is, from Roserade GL, to Froslass GL, etc.

Firstly, if you're not playing 4 DCE in here, just don't reply to this because you're bad.

Second, with 4 DCE in the deck, Garchomp has 4 free prizes. You wont use all the DCE's on Garchomp most of the time, but it will take a good amount of prizes, especially with all the pixie support/sunflora/80 HP Benchsitters coming in the MD-On format.

Lastly, Dialga really doesn't take too many prizes anymore. It can't stand up to the speed of Luxchomp, Gyarados can swing with it and win, Steelix can outdamage it (and setup just as quick, if not quicker), the only real decks DialgaChomp beats anymore is stage 2's, unless you play Drifblim FB (who takes the last 2-3 prizes when used correctly)

Also, Uxie Lv X is a godsend in that deck. Without it, you fold to Machamp easily, returning promocroak, and opposing Uxie X late game once all your resources are deplinished.

So before you accuse me of "smoking", you might wanna realize what you're saying

:)

LOLOLOL!!!! I played it for an entire season!!! I even top 64'd at Nationals with it!!! Your articles were waaay off-beat, and in case you didn't notice, the point of it is to slow the other guy down as well! Deafen lock murders LuxChomp. At Nationals, I Deafened a LuxChomp player for 26 turns just to run him over by taking all 6 prizes with Dialga G Lv.X. I ran down everything from Gardevoir/Gallade and AMU to LuxChomp. Every end of the spectrum. I've got the stats to back what I'm saying. DCE is for speeding up Dialga G, fast retreats, and the occasional disrupting snipe. So, whatever you have been smoking, give me some!!! If it can make something you've built (*wrong*) good, it'll make me win worlds!!!

True. It's usually a good plan to snipe other Garchomp C's.

And those will be dropped 3-4 times over the course of the game, and you have one turn to snipe them before they become a problem. So that would mean 3-4 prizes from garchomp. Once I was playing luxchomp, and the first 3 prizes I took were from sniped chomps.

I wouldn't say that many. Plus you don't need to kill opposing Garchomps if you don't have something you don't want sniped.

They will always snipe your garchomps. And if you don't have one down, your not playing correctly.

Wait, seniors right?

Oh yeah, that doesn't count. :)

Please keep insulting me, I love it. Actually, lemee take that back, Seniors can be difficult, but there are more misplays, less competition, etc at least up until T32 worlds I would say, maybe T64 pushing it. Anyways, Dialgachomp will not really rise again to say. It has Machamp, Polterpluff, and Luxchomp to worry about, and you have to be really good to play the deck (in masters anyways, idk about seniors).

If you're going to play a stadium I think you should play Snowpoint Temple. Giving your Dialga 20 more hp helps with tanking, and your Garchomps can't get OHKO'ed by other Garchomps. (unless they double Flash Bite) I guess downside is your giving your opponents pokemon 20 more hp which can hurt when you snipe, It can also hurt your sp matchup. Now that I think about it, it may not be the best idea, but I think you should at least try it.

@Rikko: It seems that if someone doesn't agree with you, you basicly bash them. It's OK to disagree with someone, but having a temper tantrum about it...

The funny thing is that when or if you realize you're wrong, you made a complete fool of yourself. It's happened to me and other people too. If you try to see other people's point of view (This does not mean people with your point of view, who obviously you always agree with) you're risk of making yourself look funny lowers...just a little piece of advice...take it or leave it :)

I have not played Dialgachomp, and I never will, but I can say Drifblim FB is not that bad in this deck. Reason being, is because Drifblim FB is basicly Dialga G X and Garchomp C X combined into one tech. It snipes, which is what Garchomp does, and it's a tank, which is what Dialga does.

As for tech ideas, it's probably a horrible one, but just for an idea: What about some T/S/S to help tank? Like Bertha's Warmth.

@Darkartisan
yet you can play this deck? I thought It took skill. Why don't you and Rikko Redshark? 2 out of 3

See, the deck does take mass skill (in masters).

I'll skype battle him after my battle road saturday. Dialga mirror is absolutely person, and is pure luck (as any mirror is). I only skype webcam battle, as it's the best way to test. Besides, if you think that Rikko145 (the guy who hyped darkrai lv x) is better than me, then hey, you have more problems that I can count :p

As if I didn't know what I was talking about, why dont you check out my article on the beach covering Dialgachomp? Of course, MY list isn't posted, but it's a great list anyways.
