Donchamp or Donphan ERL

What do you guys think is better between a donphan prime and machamp sf deck and a donphan, manetric pl and ERL deck??
 
definitely donphan/ERL. Its more consistent, almost as good against SP and doesnt fail against everything else.
 
I would think the ERL portion of the deck would really slow down what the deck is supposed to do, and that is to hit fast and hit hard! I prefer gool ol donkphan :) it would take too much time to set up the ERL and then the manectric to guard ur own pokemon and then attach the appropriate evergies. To me the whole Legend "theme" is just a bad continiation of the shiny pokemon from sooo long ago, unless someone can propose a speedy set up and a consistent way to get everything in your hand relatively quick?
 
I ran a 4-4 and a 2-2-2-1 Donkchamp at my BR and I got third to 2 DXG. I have since changed it to a 3-3 and a 3-3-3-1 and this deck can take anything and ko it super fast. I could get both set up T2. So I vote for Donkchamp.
 
The answer is easy... Put the ERL on your bench, attach a rainbow energy, use stark mountain and transfer a fighting energy then warp point or super scoop up your active donphan or wtv u have and hit with entei raikou.

Ok first off I would not wanna waste my time running stark mountain when donphan is good at donking and needs atleast 3-4 BTS, Second rainbow energy really hurts donphan decks one of the pluses of running a donphan deck is donphan's survivability -20 on any damage is amazing! I would not wanna jeapordize my donphan's hp or any of my other pokemon that are gonna be taking earthquake hits with a rainbow energy and i may be wrong on this but can u really move a rainbow energy with stark mountain i thought it was only basics? And lastly super scoop up's = no good, i tend to stay away from card effects that require chance so bring on the good ol warp points for me!

Ok enough bashing the legend theme, now for some good points I have seen a card being released in triumphant that would really help get a legend out fast its the new bronzong! For a single (C) energy you can search your deck for two halves of a legend card and place them on the bench so I'll wait till this little guy comes out in english :).
 
Stark mountain is in addition to BTS, and you only play ERL when it will win you the game.
 
Exactly! U only play ERL when u can atleast get 2 to 3 prizes at once and make sure it doesnt get get KOed for 2 prizes after. You have to play safe and smart with this guy and use it as a surprise. Stark mountain is used as an addition to BTS since I will still have 3-4 BTS. I will also use 3 Warp Points. Super Scoop Ups is a nice way to heal your damaged belted donphan. You only play Rainbow energies on ERL and use stark to move a fighting energy. You use rainbow energies on donphan only if its necessary.
 
yeah legendary donphan is better... but you would need a tech or something like that against gengarplume
 
I like Donphan ERL better. Not only does it's evo lines never surpass a Stage 1, but it's fast. I've only run it for a little while, but I've already noticed that ERL scares your opponent. A lot. Especially in Luxchomp. IMO, Donphan ERL is better.

But Donchamp isn't bad, just less consistent that Donphan ERL. Here is a point that will DESTROY the metagame. Machamp Prime. As soon as this card is released, Donchamp Prime will be invincible. It is such a good combo, it's ridiculous.
 
I think they're about the same, but in my opinion a different Donphan deck Donkphan is better than both.
 
It beats SP, jumpluff, and anything else that uses tons of powers or anything SP, and anything water isnt as bad since you can ERL them and One shot them.
 
i like straight up donphan aka donkphan :) it hits fast and hard and can win the game on turn 1 or 2 when you start adding all the other stuff i think it hurts the consistency of the deck; but thats only my opinnion, I have seen the decklist for donphan ERL and its quite impressive by going for the surprise ko's :)
