The point of this deck is to have Kingdra set up as your main offensive Pokemon, and have Magnezone and Octillery on the bench. While Octillery is used to constantly fill your hand with cards, thus increasing your chance to draw energy cards, Magnezone allows you to charge any creature on your side of the field. Since Kingdra’s damage scales with the amount of lightning energy attach to it, the more Magnezone provided, the better. The best part about this deck is that giving the fact that the focus is on a single Pokemon, the deck features tons of cards to recycle energy for the discard pile and from the creature itself.

Pokemon – 15

  • 4x Kingdra-EX (Fates Collide)
  • 3x Rotom (Fates Collide)
  • 2x Magnemite (Breakthrough)
  • 2x Magneton (Breakthrough)
  • 2x Magnezone (Breakthrough)
  • 2x Lapras (Breakthrough)

Energy – 16

  • 4x Double Colorless
  • 4x Water Energy
  • 8x Lightning Energy

Trainer – 29

  • 1x Town Map
  • 2x Trainer’s Mail
  • 2x Professor’s Letter
  • 2x Fisherman
  • 2x Professor Sycamore
  • 2x Super Rod
  • 3x Float Stone
  • 4x Rare Candy
  • 2x Energy Reset
  • 3x Ultra Ball
  • 2x VS Seeker
  • 1x Wally
  • 1 x Pokémon Fan Club
  • 2x Shauna

Please check your list - your summary mentions Octillery, but he isn't included in your list of Pokemon.

+2 Remoraid - missing from list
+2 Octillery - missing from list
+1 Magnemite - better chance to get one out on first turn
-1 Magneton - use rare candy if possible to evolve to Magnezone ASAP
+1 Magnezone - in case one is prized
-3 Rotom - unnecessary since Kingdra will be the attacker
-2 Lapras - unnecessary since Kingdra will be the attacker

-1 Town Map - nice to have but unnecessary
+2 Trainers' Mail - help get necessary Trainer cards
-1 Float Stone - should only be necessary to retreat Remoraid/Magnemite if they start as your active
-2 Energy Reset - Kingdra should be the only Pokemon getting energy
+1 Ultra Ball - to help ensure Octillery and Magnezone on second turn
-1 Pokemon Fan Club - use Ultra Balls instead
-2 Shauna - N or Professor Sycamore are typically better draw support
+3 N - Additional draw support for early game setup
+3 Fighting Fury Belt - for your Kingdra for extra damage and survivability

-4 Double Colorless Energy - Doesn't help Kingdra's attck - Magenzone should get you enough energy to use Dragon Tail
+2 Lightning Energy

If you can get Octillery and Magnezone up and running by your second turn (Magnezone via rare candy or first turn Wally), you should be good to go.

I hope this helps or gives you some ideas to work with!
