Hi, I have a question about fake and real Pokemon cards. You see, today I bought a Legend Maker pack from a card vending machine. When I checked the cards, there were some from different sets, like Dragon Frontiers and Crystal Guardians. The letters on the cards were twice as bolder as the letters on normal cards, and the words were twice as much spaced out. Also, I got a Dragonite EX that didn't have any foil around the sides. So, the question is, are these cards fake or real, and can I use them for tournaments?

those are fake and of course u cant play them and who would buy cards out of a vending machine

I vote real. What store owner would allow fake cards to be put in their vending machine? Where was the vending machine? What store? Aren't vending machine cards like 20 cents more, too? DF EXs don't really have foil, but more of a shiny-ness. I take it you meant Dragonite has no shiny-ness on the edges? Send a scan if possible.

Blastoise Ex:I think it's a Fake Card because every Vending Machine has fake cards in it & i
experience that few years ago....
TNPM: I think he's talking about the Vending Pokemon in the shopping center or something like
that....

Even the best of us don't think about what we're doing and fall into such scams. Well, I'm not trying to criticize you, I'm just saying, use some common sense. It happens to all of us, even me, and if you just use common sense, you can avoid these precarious pranks.

100% FAKE!
Ex's have "sparkles" (unless it's a POP pack one) around the card/s

Not all of them.

The vending machine was in Shoprite. Also, there was absolutely NO shinyness around the Dragonite EX. It was just like a normal card.

Why was there even a discussion about them not being fake? The Dragonite EX, different series in same booster, the buyer clearly saw the difference in text... It all just shouts to your face FAKE! If you know what the official cards look like, and the card you're holding doesn't look like it, it's fake. Fake, fake, fake!

Btw, you should report about that wending machine to PUI. They will most likely be VERY interested to know who sells fake card under their lisens. The sellers are braking the law!!!

you can never be sure if its fake it could just be a misprint and be extremely rare but who cares you paid like 25 cents if it really matters ask for a refund lol

Abhs edit: No revivals. *Lock*
