Who here likes Hip Hop? i love it and i love tupac even though hes gone.. but his music will always be amazing :)

I'm probably the biggest hiphop head on this site...

tupac wasn't really my boy...I was more a fan of c.wallace (biggie)...he didn't have to use beef to get his record sales

but these days, it's all about lyrical delivery, and these mainstream catz just don't got it.....I've heard better rhymes outta 5 yr olds in kindergarten

My favourite hip-hoppers are C. Wallace, Ice Cube, Fabolous, Eminem, Jay-Z, and Snoopp Dog.

you gotta give it up for dr dre :) Eminem is pretty chill too but i like his more serious songs, and i love snoop hes a favorite and so is N.W.A also Ice Cube and DMX put yea new hip hop isnt as good as old school

that must be because you listening to the wrong stuff...because the stuff I listen to, is just about kill'n all of that...it's lyrically sound, the production is top notch, the content is on point, and the energy is just over the top

I agree though, Dre kills em' on the boards...IMO Em's lyrical career is done, it's about time for him to stick to producing...because lyrically he just don't do for me no more, even his serious tracks don't cut it to me

I stick with eminem, dre, snoop, jay z, a little tupac, and some 50. But like I said I'm leaving the rap game for electronic/dance music.

given your age and what you say you normally listen to, that's not surprising at all...you gotta be a real hiphop head to know about that list...some of them might be a lil' too explicit for you to listen to

here's a question, what's your favorite tracks from the people you listed?

Snoop Dogg - i wanna rock
Dr Dre - Nothing but a g thang
Eminem - Lose Yourself
DMX - Its All Good
N.W.A - Boyz in the Hood
Ice Cube - It was a good day
Tupac - Changes
those are my favorite songs from each of the rappers i listed

Yes.

Also, it's odd that there's almost 100% positivity in this thread and almost 100% negativity in the rap thread, hah.

probably because the majority of the ones that were negative in the other thread, haven't caught wind of this one, yet
