I'm not the only one

People at my school only find stupid reasons insulting the ORIGINAL 150. It makes me ashamed I even know them. To them it was just some fad a few years ago. They're all just sheep following the fads. In a few months to a few years and people who think they're still cool will get insulted for it. Point is people think what's cool based on what others think is cool.

I am about to go on a major rant so you may get bored.

Furthermore they don't think of new insults. (Except at my current school where a few look up new Pokemon and use that to their advantage.) They insult you and Pokemon there are 3 ways to counter it. 1. Ignore them. 2. Turn it back on them. 3. Insult them and if they get angry enough that they'll attack you and hopefully an authority figure will be nearby and deal with it.:D Anyway they probably liked it at some point if they acknowledge that it exists. They just want to look cool in front of their peers. They do this for the same reason some people smoke and do other drugs, peer-pressure. There will always be jerks. Most people learn to deal with it. Some don't and they decide to keep it a secret. People say I have a problem because pokemon is a lot of my life, but I won't get into that.

I have been bashed for it, people called me Pikachu. I went "Pika Pika" in their face for the rest of the day. Everyone has stopped so far. :p
Well I don't hide it, I call myself an obsessive in front of others. Trust me, they'll leave you alone after that.
 
One of the things that really bugs me is that some of the people that make fun of it buy and play the new games,(hypocrits). Then they go off and make fun of all the Pokemon they just saw on their games. :rolleyes:
 
A lot of pokemon fans get bothered by people just because they like pokemon, here is few reasons:

For younger people (about 10-12):The bullying isn't really all that bad, but the people who you'll have the problem with are: people who aren't allowed to play it, the people who have played it for a second and decide it sucks, the people who might be interested and are being presured by thier older sibling or thier peers, and finally the people who judge pokemon from the show.

For teens (13-19): This is when you'll really get bothered/ bullied, the people who you'll have problems with now are: People who got boared of pokemon and think you should be boared of it too, the people who think pokemon is for 5 year olds, and call you a child.

These are all I can think of, please give more examples if you can.
 
I'm 14 and at my school I get really teased about it because pokemon is extinct here, but I have learned the power of ignoring and I know that if I like pokemon and they dont, tough on them!
 
I think we just get teased because of the anime... maybe if the anime wasnt invented it would be alot more popular and you wouldnt get bullied...

Ditto! Pokemon is great!

Even my brother, who's 10-years-old, doesn't like it.
But the funny part is when I got the new game even he got jealous
 
hay thats right. The only one people know is Pikachu. If people knew other then mabye it would be the opposite
