We have a chatroom, and you can have private conversations on it, so it is basicallly an IM.

Ya, what Fire Pokemon Master said. There is Private Messaging and also the chatroom (which I never go on). So ya, it is pretty much fine, no need for IM. We have everything we need already installed.

We already have a way to chat with other members in real time. You can join the chat room here. Just in case no-one knew, "im" is automatically corrected to "I'm".
