TCG Fakes Jax's Toolbox [Home of the XY Reboot: Request a Character!]

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

I had to finish a Flyer for a Pokemon TCG night that my Library was hosting. I wanted to be a bit creative with it, so I used Publisher 2013 to make this...

BOO.png

I had to work with what was available, but I still think I tried my best!

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

I think a one retreat cost is a bit too light for Pokemon at the the Library! Maybe try 2?

Hahahahaha

I honestly had to get this submitted just last night. My Library needs flyers for any activities about 1 month prior to event date, so I mainly just wanted to fill out something that would fit the spirit of Pokemon.

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

Oh, one thing about Zero Chain.

A lot of people noticed the following: In Tidal Storm and Gaia Volcano, the only Pokemon with Omega Traits were land based and the only Pokemon with Alpha Traits were marine based. Most people are also thinking that only air based Pokemon will receive the fabled 'Delta Traits'. Even though I like to stay true to the official sets, this is something I won't take into consideration. A Pokemon can have any Trait in Zero Chain, whether it swims, runs, or flies. So, yes. There is always the possibility of a Zapdos with O Multi-Strike (Barrage) and a Barbaracle with Delta Force. (a new one for my set)

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

Guys, serious talk right now. I love working on my blog, and I love working on my text fakes just as much, but I find it difficult to fit in balanced time for both. I can still do them both at the same time, but this usually ends up with me being able to only accomplish 2-5 Fakes at a time and only getting around 60% of a post done per session I take to do this.

Should I consider working more on my blog posts (if you guys like that stuff anyway) or my Text Fakes? Leave your opinions here: http://www.strawpoll.me/3217460

In the meantime, it seems like NameBlank is stepping up his game. Let's give him what he comes here for! Blastoise, suit up!

Mega - M. Blastoise-EX - HP230 - [W] (Team NameBlank)

When 1 of your Pokemon becomes a Mega Evolution Pokemon, your turn ends.
[W] [W] [C] Geyser Bomber 80+
You may shuffle as many [W] Energy cards as you like from your discard pile back into your deck. This attack does 20 more damage for each Energy you shuffled back into your deck.

Weakness: [G]

Retreat: [C] [C] [C]
When a Pokemon-EX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

I like them both, honestly. With Christmas break approaching I hope you will have time to keep doing what you do best!

And yes, I do read your blog. You have a lot of funny and intresting stuff! Seriously, where is Regigigas in your top 10

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

I can't add 50 votes to the last option
Haha, but being serious, it's more of what you enjoy doing the most and/or feel more comfortable with. If you think that, by sacrificing some time at faking, you can give your blog a nice boost to it to even maybe have a couple contributors other than yourself, then go for it, and then balancing the 2 of them can be way easier. On the other hand, if you feel like what can give you more progress/success is to keep faking and brainstorming a bunch of ideas, then your blog can wait for a little bit longer. As I said, it's mostly up to you. ;)

And I do have the Headquarters in my RSS Subscriptions. Was waiting for that Gallade... xD

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

(on Groudon) 4 for 160 and discarding the top 8 cards of your deck is terrible. Maybe drop the base discarding to 2?

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

Shouldn't Groudon write 'don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon'?
