TCG Fakes Jax's Toolbox [Home of the XY Reboot: Request a Character!]

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

NameBlank said:
(on Groudon) 4 for 160 and discarding the top 8 cards of your deck is terrible. Maybe drop the base discarding to 2?

Well, it's a non-EX basic with 140HP. There is also a lot of easy ways to bypass the Energy cost, ala Elektross/Whiscash. I think it's justified overall, since the 8 discards can still be recovered with Trump Card.

Also, fixed, bbninjas,

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Omega Barrage!) (NameBlank vs GadgetJax, in Flight!)

Starting to get a bit tired of faking, honestly. I have lots of ideas that I want to use, but the current work on Diantha, Valerie, NameBlank, Zero Chain, and planning for the Elite Four is kind of weighing me down. Considering how much I have going on, here is a rough schedule of when to expect all the cards I have planned:

-Diantha's Team should be finished before 2015. Once Diantha's team is fully complete, I'm going to stop work on my fakes for the Christmas season, and continue other teams after January 5th, the day school starts again for me.

-NameBlank's Team is a slow, but steady addition. I don't have a set deadline, but the entire collection for him might be ready around late January next year.

-Valerie will be worked on in 2015. Any further details are TBA.

-Zero Chain won't start development, like I've mentioned before, until 2015. I want this set to be really special, so I am going to try to be as unique as possible. If I'm going to make any estimates, I'd say that early-February is when I'll start writing for it, and the set should be finished in April.

-The Elite Four, while I have mentioned before that I might consider it, is pending development at all. I've exhausted a lot of Team ideas already on other Teams, and considering how many ideas I'm working on right now, I doubt that I'll be getting them done ever. If I do consider it down the line, though, expect it to be a Summer-Time project. The chance of it actually happening, though is only about 35% at the moment.

So, 1 more set of Diantha cards before I take some time to myself.

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Expect Zero Chain soon!)

First question: I get these 3D models off of this link: http://pldh.net/ for an easier way to get sprites, just type in this link and fill in the spot that says 'empty' with the Pokedex number of the Pokemon in mind.
Code:

Here are some for reference...

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Expect Zero Chain Soon!)

I know it's kinda stupid, but I wanted to upload the English text for the new Ancient Traits. Here they are...

O Barrier Whenever your opponent plays a Trainer card (excluding Pokémon Tools and Stadium cards), prevent all effects of that card done to this Pokémon.

O Barrage This Pokémon may attack twice a turn (if the first attack Knocks Out your opponent's Active Pokémon, you may attack again after your opponent chooses a new Active Pokémon.)

A Growth When you attach an Energy card from your hand to this Pokémon (except with an attack, Ability, or Trainer card), you may attach 2 Energy cards.

A Recovery When this Pokémon is healed, double the amount healed.

-

Anyone can use these for reference.

RE: GadgetJax's Toolbox! (Teamster Kyogre's and Groudon's!)

A while back, I stated that Zygarde EX would NOT be in Zero Chain. The reason I initially said that was because I couldn't find of any clever way to get him involved in the set, so I decided to can the idea. However, that is a thing of the past...

As a tie-in Theme Deck for Japan to coincide with the Japanese release of the set, I bring you, the Turbo Dragon Charge Theme Deck! The deck features primarily Zygarde-EX, with Flygon as a bonus Holo card. In addition, the focus of this theme deck is around Grass and Fighting Type Pokemon. New special Trainer cards are included in this deck: Evo Patch and Emerald Cavern! In addition, similar to the Hyper Metal Chain deck, this special deck has a 1/6 chance of coming with a FA Zygarde-EX in place of 1 of the pre-existing Zygarde's included in the deck. The entire deck list is below:

2x Zygarde-EX
2x Flygon
3x Vibrava
2x Cacturne
2x Cacnea
3x Yanma
3x Trapinch

2x Pokemon Catcher
2x Red Card
2x Roller Skates
