My fake card topic was locked because I 'revived' the thread. Well excuse me for not having the time to make ALL my fake cards at once, and coming back to post an update when I had time?

Whats up with that really? It's not like I'd finished all the cards and THEN revived it ages later. It's still an ongoing project. I strongly contest this moderation.
 
It would have been different if you actually had something to contribute update, but the only thing I saw was a bump. There's nothing wrong with leaving it for dead until you have something else to post - I planned on doing the same thing with my own topic.

There's no law that says you can't create another topic, so if you really want, you can create a new topic when you have something to update, not just so people can look at your old fakes. But for now, the topic stays locky.
 
Hmm, thats interesting. That if you have an update you can revive. So I have a question then, concerning reviving.

My fan fic, Pokemon Journey Through life, died a while ago simply because I didn't have time for new chapters. Are you saying that if I come up with another chapter I could revive it? Or is the 2 week rule still in affect, and I just make a new thread?

That's because I edited my new update into the first post. You can check the last time I edited it, and it correlates with the date of the bump, 21st April. Admittedly I used 'in lieu' in the wrong context, but I still stand strongly that the topic should not have been locked.
 
...in my opinion I think that Elegost should have his thread unlocked. It was only a month dead. And I don't see the precedent with your thread Mateo, because you didn't bump because of an update. Just my opinion.....
