Lostgar, luxchomp...where to go?

broken-time space its a staple in most decks. sorry to break it to ya but...they arnt. one is in the HeartGold SoulSilver pack and one is in the HeartGold SoulSilver: Triumphant packs. it would be good to get some packs first so that you can get some of the basic pokemon and get some trainers and supporters and so on.

wow BTS is good! What pack does that come in? Yeah ha ha I just looked at that and was like "dang...at least both packs have things I need"

the heart gold and coul silver base packs will get me my "staples" as well as my donphans if things go right. The triumphant will hopefully get me machamps and gengar/mew.

I gotta go bro. Thanks for all the help. Can I PM you when I get back in like an hour?

^Umm, you could just buy these cards as singles online...

You might want to try Jumpluff. It is really easy to use, and the cards are cheap online. A 4-4-4 line of Jumpluff is something like $15.00 online.

^WHAT....where did you find that statistic....ive been looking everywhere for 4 jumpluff for less than like 20 bucks...i cant find any. it is a cheap deck. yes

Jumpluff and BST are the only real expensive cards in the deck right? Then techs like uxie would make it more expensive but it's not needed.

What about donphan decks using machamp?

I would suggest going straight Speed donphan if you use donphan..pm me if you want suggestions/partial list

Which uxie is better? Why is the level x one like 3 bucks. The cheaper one looks like it has a way better effect.

the regular one only work when you put it down. the lvl x you can use the ability each turn.

dang, so I'd kind of have to use the level x uxie if I want to run x3 uxie. Well, I guess that's out the window lol 90 bucks defeats the purpose of the deck being "budget"

You registered on here just to say that?

I meant 30. left out the 0. 50-80 is mor elike luxray

if you can find uxie x for 30 please tell me lol. I would buy 3 at that price, just to sell them for 80 each at nats.

Offtopic:

I had a yugioh chimeratech deck (still have) and have played it since potd Came out (modified it a bit here and there since obviously). Overall it's like..$100 I think (probably less with current value) and it goes/went toe-to-toe with lightsworn, blackwings etc (last time I played competitively those were the POPULAR decks)

Edit: I noticed the other guys post..his post was really uneccisary)

^he ment jumpluffFTW...and no wormadam doesnt win...i havnt heard of a single time that wormadam has won. it requires to much set up and if you dont have 1 thing it all falls apart. and you dont have to pay alot to have a good deck yes but when a deck or card blows up the cards in it sky rocket to huge prices...thus why luxray is 70 dollars and uxie x is 80

Things are a little more expensive now in the yu-gi-oh scene. Pot of Duality is $90 a pop with Solemn Warning following at around $40 a pop. Both are played in x2 or 3's. Extra decks cost at least 150 conservatively. But the extra decks can be used for any deck. So not considering extra deck or warning/pot, pokemon is more expensive than yu-gi-oh lol

off topic about yu-gi-oh:

is POD like pot of greed? I Havn't played since..whatever blackwings came out in.lol.

is solemn warning like solemn judgement?

on topic:

most non-sp pokemon decks though run the exact same/similar trainer lines..so once you have those it's not too bad money wise

^ and SP's are so last year so who wants to run those decks anyway. as said before in yugioh decks use different cards and are changed drastically. about 90 % of decks use BTS all decks can use uxie. all decks can use professor oak so once you have them they just go in all decks.

@Catutie:
Sp is Amazing..decks aren't like Fashion..you play what wins.

No offense, but who's ranked 45th in the world right now? Not you. Want to know how I got there? By running luxchomp. Given lost world is now out Dialgachomp is/will be the popular SP choice..because as Previously stated..Sp is amazing.

^sarcasm....yes luxchomp is amazing. it is still amazing because its support is still here but come rotation...its gone and it will start to drop in popularity.

Wow Matt, you're really letting the rankings after Cities really go to your head. Alot of the best players in the world either don't play till States/Regionals, or they just wait to grind in to worlds. And saying you're 45th in the world doesn't say much, look at those rankings again, look what country is missing.

Now on topic, I've turned against sp this year, and now I'm yet again turning to SP again. While the decks a more inconsistent than years past due to the loss of Rosy and Night Maintenance, all other decks loss more consistency by losing claydol. So it was really more that SP had less of a loss from rotation than any other deck.

@ project 696
Firstly, who are you as you seem to know who I am..

If I would have dropped before losing in top cut each time I would be 13th. and either way if I continue to do well and am ranked top 50 in the Continent I get a worlds invite..which overall is all that matters. May I ask your ranking?

On topic:

yes luxchomp will not be played at all next rotation..i never saidotherwise
