Use Giratina's power to get one card in hand, then scale blow for 80-110

Any comments?

You would have to play a lot of expendable cards to get a hand size of Four down to One. :F Plus, it can be Power Sprayed, so it's not the best there.

dmaster out.

^Lots of Trainers, perhaps, particularly ones that don't get another card back into your hand. I can see Junk Arm being a great fit for this deck.
However, there's still the problem that it's a 90 HP Pokémon doing at most 90, which Gyara can do for 3 less energy cost. Plus, Gyara doesn't need an empty hand to do 90.

I think if you run lookers or night teleporter to get 1 card in hand it would be better. you could night teleporter for something like uxe deal your damage and then play the uxie next turn to refresh hand.

Getting your hand down to 1 after Giratina is easy, Giratina lets you draw UP TO 4 cards, so you just draw 1.

^So 3 to do 80 with only 1 card to work with in your hand? Just hope it's something that'll get you a card you want. If it's an energy or something else you don't need, you'll have trouble getting anything going.

@ TheBugManiac: Or 0. UP to 4 cards means you can choose to draw none. So you can do all 90 for 3, which is STILL not that great.

Looker's is definitely the way to go. Draw as little as possible, and then use Scale Blow for a single Water Energy and a DCE. Hayadern, 110 with Expert Belt right there. Unfortunately, you have Luxray GL LV.X to worry about, and the fact that he has the SP Engine on his side, and that he needs one turn to hit you with 80 damage if he's got the the Energy Gain, and that it's an OHKO if you don't have an Expert Belt and he Crobat G drops you.

@XflamemasterX: As far as I know, drawing up to 4 cards means you have to draw at least one. Remember Claydol's Cosmic Power? Put UP TO 2 cards underneath your deck and draw until you have six in your hand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you always had to put a card under your deck to use it.

Interesting point. Yes, you are correct about Claydol's power. You did need to put at least 1 card underneath in order to complete the next step of the power. Not sure if this is the same thing, since you shuffle your hand in, and then draw UP to 4 cards, but it most likely is.

In any case, It makes Scale Blow even less usable.

So what happens when you get KO'ed out of nowhere and don't have a response because you have a two card hand?
