Online Pokemon MMO Discussion [New Forum Category]

I feel that these forums need a category to discuss online Pokemon MMOs. Anyone agree?
 
It's not that popular, and there have been no threads about it. So why would we need a forum? You could just do it in General Pokemon Discussion.
 
It would be a lot of advertising.

"I play this game from X site. I really like it. Go play it now" =P

That would come up a lot, and people would get warned for advertising (as its against the rules)

"OMG NEW DOWNLOADZ FOR TEH VIRUS'S."

One of the main reasons this wasn't work, disregarding the blatant advertising, is that half of the current MMO's DON'T WORK. :p
 
Yeah, and there's no Pokemon MMOs anyway. You could discuss MMOs like WoW and such in a thread in the Video Games sub-forum anyway.

OBJECTION!

I've seen at least... uhm.. two. One based on the main games (set in Johto or something, if I remember correctly), and one based on the PMD-games. There are probably more as well.

Though if you meant OFFICIAL Pokémon MMORPGs, there are none (unfortunately).
 
There are a fair number on BYOND, though good luck trying to find one that's anywhere NEAR completion... (Or good <,<)

An official Pokemon MMORPG (if it was done well.) would be incredible. If the gameplay/graphics were good enough I may even consider actually paying to keep up a subscription. xD
 
I meant official. RPG, catching, battling, trading, the works. No PMD stupid spin-offs. They don't count towards the main series of games. There has yet to be a true Pokemon MMORPG, and even if you want to talk about the spin-offs, that's not a lot of discussion.

I will have to 2nd him on the PWO...from what I've see of it so far, it is a pretty decent unofficial Pokemon MMO

I'm not sure why the site would be inclined to create a forum to advertise your websites rather lacking (in my opinion, not that I could do it, but I'm more of an "all or nothing" type guy) attempt at one. EDIT: But, to your credit, this is by far the best advertising thread I've ever seen. *Applause*
 
The point about whether a Pokemon MMO exists or not shouldn't be debated, but the usefulness of a forum for it. I think there is no need for a forum.
