BW/BW2 Pokemon Explanation!

Everyone is slightly confused by these pokemon designs so I want to clear it all up. First of all, this region is based off of New york in AMERICA. There aren't going to be a LOT of japanese influences. The garbage bag pokemon is likely based on pollution because it was altered from trash and chemicals, and where I live in Pennsylvania, there are doves, chipmunks, deer, and dogs and cats all over. Eagles, voltures...basically every pokemon except for the desert ones have a logical explanation based off of areas in the North American and South American areas. :D
 
Dogs, cats, etc are pretty generic, and have been featured in earlier generations too.
 
^Because we Americans love our ice cream! Also, why not? Gamefreak has the power (and money) to make anything into a pokemon. :)
 
I'm just surprised there isn't a hot dog or apple pie Pokemon -___-
Also, ice cream's evolutionary method isn't too creative.
Almost as uncreative as Gear & Chillarmy's ways of evolution O_O

I am actually dissapointed in the ice types. Snorunt is AMAZING. I wanted something like that kinda of thing. Not a weak polar bear and ice cream :( oh and whats with that weird snow flake?

hahaha LADY GAGA!! that will be it's nickname. I actually thought from the moment I saw it that it was a little similar to celebi..... with the eyes and the green...and that would be cool if the snowflake was sort of related to solrock and lunatone. How big is the snowflake? If it was sort of small I would get it but if it is like glalie or something and huge I will NOT get one. except for filling in my pokedex

BTW: I love lady gaga...and her concerts :D
 
I am not too sure what inspired the legends.... Genosect might have been inspired by annoying bugs like stink bugs and how they take over everything. to me, these legends make NO sense. Except for maybe the weather ones and the ying yang ones. Other wise, they are random. The horse....I want to say water horse...hahaha but really...no reason as of now
 
Gorog isn't american based, but based of an ancient culture somewhere (forget the name) that built giant statues. Gorog is based off of their shape. (no, not the easter island ones.). Tabunne is slightly based off of domestic pets living in america and also slightly based off of humanoid forms. The other part is a unique design. The other ones, I can't find on the list because I can't control F anymore and I don't know their numbers.. I'll find them later.
 
Arent all the pokemon based on what the desgners saw at a zoo? Like seeing crocodiles and polar bears and also people with pets and icecream?
Think i know the only reason mamoubou is here. Heartscales. Only luvdisc gets them, but its not there. Important since move teachers like them.

I disagree, I really like "My Little Pony" I think it's cute, and I love it's typing. Unicorns rule.

I agree, I mean, just cause it's set in New York, doesn't mean everything is going to be based on animals/objects that are there. I'm pretty sure there are deers and garbage in Japan. ^_^

and im looking at it right now( i found a way around the whole trademark crap, and i would tell you, but somebody from nintendo might read it, sorry for the conspiracies)and it doesnt even looks like a unicorn, its a random...thing with a horse head
