Pokemon (14):
  • 2 Tapu Lele GX (beatdown)
  • 3 Silvally GX (beatdown)
  • 3 Type: Null (evolution)
  • 2 Registeel (beatdown)
  • 2 Regirock (assistance)
  • 2 Regice (beatdown)
Trainer (32):
  • 4 Professor Sycamore (draw)
  • 3 Professor Kukui (draw)
  • 1 Bridgette (search)
  • 3 Guzma (control)
  • 3 N (draw)
  • 3 Fighting Memory (beatdown)
  • 2 Rescue Stretcher (retrieval)
  • 3 Choice Band (beatdown)
  • 4 Max Elixir (accelerate)
  • 2 Field Blower (discard)
  • 4 Ultra Ball (search)
Energy (14):
  • 4 Double Colorless Energy
  • 4 Water Energy
  • 6 Metal Energy

STRATEGY:

Start with any Basic Pokémon and use Tapu Lele GX to set up with Bridgette. Ensure that Type: Null and the Regis are on the battlefield at the start of the next turn. Attach to either Registeel or Type Null and end the turn. Next turn evolve into Silvally and accelerate with Max Elixir and the attack of either Silvally or Registeel. The main appeal of this deck is that it has several one-prize attackers that hit a decent weakness and Rebellion is a nice attack that can be used to score knock outs in one hit on its own. At present the deck has weakness to Metal, Water and Fighting covered. Unfortunately it misses a fire attacker to cover the weakness of the main types used thus far.

Hello @Dark Espeon, nice deck!
4 choice bands seem a little overkill maybe cut one for another rescue stretcher to get back a tech (one of your many 2 ofs) or a special charge for the 4 DCEs. However I don't see much of a problem. Great Deck!

Maybe consider Smeargle from BKT to help you with the multiple basic energy + Max Elixir issue (i.e. you may not always end up putting the right energy on from the Elixir). Also, if Regice is a 'beatdown' Pokemon, why no Water or Rainbow energy?

Hi DashKing,

Thanks for the review. Will be sure to check out a second Rescue Stretcher instead of the fourth Choice Band once the cards are released. It is a first draft and I also consider to lower the Regice count and increase the Registeel count but would need to test out these two modifications first.

Hi joffreyspikes,

Thanks for the review. While Smeargle may come in handy I fear that the bench is already crowded as is. Regice is mainly there because he is needed to allow Regigigas to attack. I assume that hitting metal and fighting weakness may be the better choices at the moment but if fire becomes more dominant than Drampa decks I would consider to run Water instead of fighting energies. I did not want to include Rainbow Energy because the extra health on the Regis is quite handy and I do not like less than nine Basic Energies in a deck that wants to use Max Elixir to power up its attackers.
