This is a thread for people in fan creations who feel that they have been
  • Cheated On
  • Ripped off
  • Has had their ideas stolen
  • Or has not been given credit or recconition for their work in any way shape or form
  • Has taken someone's ideas without permission

Please respond:D!

RE: NO CREDIT!

If you don't have problems it, why make a thread for others? Maybe there's no one on PokéBeach Forums, that has that kind of problems. Then that thread is useless. Actually that thread is useless in anyway. They'll report thief, so I think that thread is going to get locked very soon...

RE: NO CREDIT!

Indeed. This thread doesn't have much use since I have never seen any art theft here.

Note: If another mod disagrees with me, feel free to re-open this.

RE: NO CREDIT!

Oh yes, we had art theft before... In fact, we had several ideas or work being copied before in Fan Creations. I think we'll have to move this to Fan Creations though.

Should stop all credit probs. Thank you.

I've had this happen to me.
It was: (Looks @ PM's) I know it was someone new last month....& a fellow member told me about it. Then I PM'd the member (the art theif) about it....I also reported them.

What's the point of this? Someone who's had art stolen will just PM and/or report the member that did it.

And IMO "stolen ideas" just seems stupid to me.

Say you come up with a new way to recolor sprites to make them look like <insert random object/pokemon/thing here>. Someone else sees that and says "Hey, I wanna give this a try." They make it, and post it here on these forums. Unless they're taking an image from you and using it or part of it I see no reason why they should have to give credit to the person who originaly came up with that idea.

On the other hand if that person is asked where they got the idea from thet'd better not cliam it as thier own. The right thing to do would be to give that person some credit by aknowledging that they originaly came up with the idea.

Shops might also be an exeption to this.
