Signature Character Limits

Because all of the stickied threads are apparently all dead and not read by moderators any more, I've decided to post a new thread, instead.

My problem:

The character limit for signatures is too small. As it is, my sig is pushing the limit, and it doesn't even fill half as much space as most of the clan banners out there. Also, it takes nowhere near the amount of time to load as they do.

I want the limit to be increased so that I can expand my competitive Pokémon shop. It will not slow down the forums anywhere near as much as the banners do. The size limit would stay in place, of course, but the number of characters should have a much higher cap.

Discuss.
 
Why dont you just make a "My Player" and put a link to it in your sig.....its not like their THAT GREAT anyways.....why do you need to add a shop in your sig?

For me, it's really hard to find a (game) image that doesn't cut off a little bit of the text, and plus, it's really hard to put two Images in your sig in the first place. (Not including little sprites) I'm on the wall on this one. I don't see the point in raising the KB usage for the signatures, anyway, and that's what I've always agreed with. For your situation, Arzamo, it's probably better to make a Mini-My Player Thread.

There is a 15 image limit per post, so I can't make a My Player Thread with all my competitives. Double posts are also merged together so I can't just post twice to get more than 15 images in. A larger sig would make my competitives more easily accessible.
 
Put your competitives in a picture, upload it to photobucket, and then put it in your sig and GET OVER IT. We've had this sig limit since I joined over a year ago, and it's worked fine for everyone. WPM more than likely won't raise the limit so you can fit a bunch of stuff that people really don't care about. That is what My Player Threads are for. So either use a picture, cut your sig down, or use a MP Thread. Otherwise, cry me a river, build a bridge, and get over it.
 
Really. Just post a link to your thread. You don't have to have images. Most threads didn't have images until one person posted them. And don't copy the "Discuss" thing, Arzamo. xD
 
Dude, just make a my player thread so people who care can look at it, put the link in your sig. It'll be better that way.
 
I'm with Arzamo on this one. Text doesn't take long to load, and it is relatively small, so I can even fit 200 words in my sig without stretching the page. IMO the character limit should be increased.
 
Just post the godforsaken links in your sig. people will look at your sig, and if they want to view whatever it is you have, they'll click the link. Yes, the sig limit is annoying at times, but there are ways of getting around it (Picture, DUH!). Stop complaining about this, you both sound like noobs.
