Hi this is a SSBM thread for you to post.

1. Your favorite character's
2. Your favorite combo's
3 Anything about SSBM you can think of like wavedashing and other stuff.

So my favorite character's are Samus,Marth and Fox. I ove to do the double missle combo with Samus and the Shine combo with Fox.

I love pikachu because I can serious damage with him on the N64 version espescialy on the pokemon level and the secret super mario bros level. The weapons of choice that I use are the hammer the beam sword and the pokeball for maximum damage.:)

I'm pretty decent with Roy and Marth on a non-competitive level, but I'd never stand a chance at tourneys. I can't wavedash every single time, nor do I feel the need to practice until I can. It's then that a game loses it's fun for me, so I have no interest in playing any other way than casually.

I usually don't use weapons, but I'm a big favorite of 200% damage battles w/Bomb-Ombs and Motion Sensor battles. Those are a blast, literally.

Really don't have a combo. I suppose you could consider the positioning of Roy/Marth's thrust attacks, but that opens a world of opportunity for other fun chain moves. And it's not a combo, but descending down into the fray while charging up your B attack...that's fun to watch. One word: SCATTER!!!

I also LOVE playing with Ice Climbers, Peach, and Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff especially, since lots of people underestimate her. And Peach is just hilarious. Nothing like hearing the smack of a frying pan :).

Meh, I really play decent with just about everyone. Like when we do Tiny Melee, I'm ALWAYS Pichu, just because it's hilarious to watch it run. Yeah, definitely not the greatest character, but my friends play it for the fun factor, not the "I just kicked your ass!" factor.

Yeah, Super Smash is probably the only game I can own at more than Pokemon. I've gone to like, 18 tournaments and won about 9 or so. Kinda stinks I really haven't entered a huge one yet.
I don't wavedash, seeing as it's completely unnecessary. It's hilarious to smash someone off the stage as they come wavedashing towards you.
Lastly, I usually use (In order) Roy, Mewtwo, Ice Climbers, Jigglypuff, and Mr. Game & Watch. Really, I can play very well with every character except Pichu, but I often stick to the ones above.

I don't think so. Wavedashing is necessary for some characters because they are either too laggy with rolls or their wavedash is large enough to make use of in some way. You can't say it's unnecessary if you don't reap the full benefits it can bring...

I use Samus, and wavedashing for her is necessary because her dodge sucks and, when timed right, her wavedashing is much faster than her run. I've played in a few competitive tournaments but they werent really that great. At the time of playing I used Luigi, when I really should have used Samus since i'm much better with her.

My mains are Samus, G&W and Pikachu. The last 2 are mainly for fun, and they are fun. Samus is my main for competitions while I use G&W and Pikachu for fun with friends who all play competitively too.

I don't have many main combos, I just use any opportunities that I can to my advantage and that usually involves a few combos. I use a few combos that Wes and Dyna Dash use (they're both Uber Samus players) and that has helped me alot, plus I tech some of my own stuff in. With G&W and Pikachu though there aren't any good combo videos cause noone uses them so all the stuff I do with them is my own combos and strategies, which has seemed to work out fine.

Anyway, I tried some of the glitches that they DIDN'T take out of the PAL version and they were fun. The most memorable was the Black Hole glitch (sometimes called the Turnip glitch), and I did that with 3 friends. Apart from being hilarious it took us 3 times to do it since the game froze the 1st 2 times, lol.

I don't wave dash because it hurts my hands and I can't get the hang of it. My main characters are Marth, Ganondorf, and Pikachu. But in a tournament, I'd be crushed.

I guess my favorite combos would be tossing them up in the air and intercepting them a few times.

Well yeah I wavedash And I have mastered Fox's shine combo which is hard to do. Has anyone mastered Samus's bomb jump?

I'm pretty good at it, but I have NO IDEA WHATSOEVER HOW THEY CAN JUMP MUNDER THE FIELD AND MAKE THE'R WAY BACK TO THE OTHER SIDEO_O HOW DO THEY DO IT?

Well you release one bomb and then launch another and keep doing that that is why samus has one of the best recovery moves.

Are you serious? You can't "master" Samus' bomb jump cause there's nothing to master. Just keep laying bombs one after the other and each time you bounce you move closer to the stage. If you won't make it using the Screwattack then simply Grapple to recover.

Samus is a very cool character for sure. I love superwavedashing and recovering from the bottom of Foundain of Dreams cause noone who's seen them before freaks out cause it seems impossible, but really isn't.

Sorry I did not say that right I meant does anyone know how to use samus's bomb jump. Also Abhorsen do you know how to do the double missle shot with samus?

The double missle shot is very easy, it's just cancelling out the lag time in between by landing on the ground while shooting the 1st missle right before you land. That cancels the lag time letting you shoot 2 missles one after the other very quickly.
