Tangrowth the underated

One of my decks of mine tangrowth hase been doing very well. I can get tangrowth x up to 190 hp and it can also heal its self. Tangrowth hase resistince to water pokemon and a populer deck now is gyrados and with gyrados is a water pokemon i played my tangrowth deck at battle roads and it did very well.

Here are some techs you can put in tangrowth.

You can have sunflora in a tangrowth deck. Sunflora poke power allows you to serch your for a grass pokemon and put that pokemon in your hand.

You can also have cherrim from arceus its poke body reduces damage by ten to your grass pokemon.

You can also have Ho oh legend. Ho oh legend is nice in a tangrowth deck because it can provide another attacking pokemon. Oh oh legend is good with tangrowth x attack big growth. Also cherrim poke body works with Oh ho legend.

You can also have metapod. Metapod's pokebody give's your grass pokemon no weakness. But you may want to put butter free in also because if they dont have fire pokemon it leaves metapods poke body use less.

You can have shaymin x land fourm. Shyamin x land fourm gives your grass pokemon fourty extra hp.

You can also have vespiquen from undaunted. It's pokebody stops damage done to your grass pokemon that are benched.

The card seeker is very good in a tangrowth deck. You can play the card switch or warp point bring tangrowth back to the bench and bring up shaymin x with three energy on it then use the card seeker bring tangrowth back in to your hand. Then use shaymin x attack seed flare now you can attach all the leaf energy cards from you hand to tangla and also do a lot of damage.

sound pretty good. combo with ho oh legend would be good because you could put like 8 energies on him and do his attack like 5 times. i have been trying to get a tangroth x for a while so that i can use leafeon x shaymin x and tangroth x in one deck. tangroth x is a very underated card. i welcome getting all my energies out of my deck and loading up all my guys.

also the raikou entei legend isnt that good. the best IMO is the rayquaza deoxys legend. i know someone with a fire electric deck with the raikou entei legend in it and it gets KOed really quick
 
Then he's using it wrong. You use it in Luxchomp as a game-winner to take all your remaining prizes in one turn. You lay it down, attatch to it, and galactic switch an energy to it and boom you can win.

Aas minimidget94 said, clearly he's not using it right. Its second attack is just ridiculous, judging by how many prizes you can get in one turn...
 
So I suppose Tangrowth is the new Cure gar? Seriously, tangrowth is a semi-competitive fun deck, but it's just not fast enough to keep up with the meta. Last format, FlyGrowth/Flying Spaghetti Monster was a pretty cool deck, but it needed Claydol. Granted, Tangrowth can abuse Engineer's, but it's still slow. And BTW, "Cure Gar" was terrible too.
 
he doesnt use raikou entei legend as his main attacker and uses blaziken from platinum to burn your active then uses ampharos HGSS to load up blaziken with energies until ampharos dies then uses fire spin over and over. it works every time. aaaaaand most guys with powers or bodies have way over 80 hp so it wouldnt take everything down quickly.

heck it would be able to take down leafeon x with shaymins x's thankfulness and i could OHKO it. and with a tangrowth x i could get all my energies set everything up and im doing upward of 200 damage with leafeon. i think legends are over rated. the only good one as i said before is the rayquaza deoxys one or the darkrai cresselia one

Besides, benched 'Mon can be damaged.
 
Usually there is Luxray Lv.X/Garchomp Lv.X in Luxchomp, they're able to take out your Metapod. Don't say Vespiqueen, because they can drag that up and KO it too. Don't say Cherrim, they have Crobats. Don't say Shaymin, they can KO that too.

How do you have the bench space for any of this? Cherrim, Vespiqueen, Sunflora, Shaymin and Metapod just to beat a deck like Luxchomp with a fire tech. The Shaymin doesn't make sense either as Luxchomp won't allow you to put down 3 energy and let you have Tangrowth. What do you do if they use Crobat G's Toxic Fang on Tangrowth?

Hi, my name is Dialga G LVX. I will professionaly screw this deck up entirely.
Also I am sure pliskin will now say "Lololol ill use hooh u noob" to which I reply good luck stacking it with 4 energy when its body isnt working.
 
you idiot, he will now reply with something along the lines of "I'm not stupid", and then prove the opposite by stating some utterly impossible kind of set up that will destroy DGX. This anti-Dialga set up probably relies on Pokebodies.
 
Sorry i was with out my computer for a couple of days. Yes your right about its bad aginst dilga g x but i think the tangrowth from the next set wouldnt be as bad aginst dilga g x.

Tangrowth is a very quick card you can use its first attack on the second turn. Then you could attach a dce on to it and use its second attack on the thrid turn.

People said you can easily take out metapod with garchomp c x well thats not really true because you can have shaymin x on the bench it would stop it from being one shouted from from garchomp c dragon rush.

Well i run three switchs and two junk arms in my deck if metapod was brought up by luxray you could just switch it back.
 
yes butt garchmop one shouts shaymin 2 lololz.

But seriously, it KO's shaymin before you level up, and goodbye Metapod. And lern 2 spell.
 
Your takeing tangrowth to lightly your really to busy dealing with tangrowth rather than takeing out the bench and not every one runs sp's.
