This is my sandstorm team. I go the "all out attack" approach, and it can easily break stall or other weather teams. Simply, get sandstorm going, and proceed to KO everything quickly to reduce opponent's own KO's and hax. Good game.

Tyranitar (M)
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 248 HP, 4 Atk, 176 Sp. Atk, 80 Sp. Def
~Fire Blast
~Ice Beam
~Stealth Rock
~Pursuit

I got this one from PDC. Not many people expect a mixed Tyranitar. Anyway, start out with Stealth Rock to set up a hazard. Common starters are Skarmory or Ferrothorn, and Fire Blast completely takes them by surprise. The Sassy nature is perfect in a sandstorm, as rock types increase their Sp. Def during one. Pursuit gets rid of those trying to escape the wrath of Tyranitar. Flying types get taken down by Ice Beam.

Excadrill (M)
Item: Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
~Earthquake
~Rock Slide
~Return
~Swords Dance

A simple Excadrill set, start out with Swords Dance and do some sweeping. EQ covers Electric, Fire, Rock, and Steel types. It's also a great attack in general. Rock Slide covers the Flying types that Earthquake can't hit. Shadow Claw is for Jellicent and Gengar, as well as everyone else that can somewhat handle EQ or Rock Slide. The high critical-hit chance has also saved me from a few tight spots. However, I really don't use this guy much, as the rest of my team handles everyone.

Landorus (M)
Item: Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Force
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
~Earthquake
~U-Turn
~Outrage
~Rock Slide

Even without Swords Dance, this thing is an amazing tank. With Sand Force, EQ and Rock Slide get increased in power by 33%. That might not seem like much, but with high Attack and Speed, there will surely be a lot of damage being dealt. Rock Slide even keeps its chance of flinch (as it is usually powered by Sheer Force). U-Turn is powerful, and allows me to make a quick getaway if my opponent swaps to something unfavorable. Outrage deals with Hydreigon and Haxorus and incase I need a powerful attack last second.

Jirachi
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Careful
EVs: 252 HP, 216 Sp. Def, 40 Speed
~Body Slam
~Protect
~Iron Head
~Wish

The lord of hax, this is Jirachi. As with all (good) Jirachi, this comes with Body Slam and Iron Head. Most of the time, I start with Body Slam to induce paralysis, and then spam Iron Head for flinch hax. If things get rough for Jirachi (or simply anyone), use Wish and use Protect (or swap if needed). Thanks to 404 HP, Jirachi gives out maximum HP healing with Wish. So yeah Jirachi is a troll and stuff :3

Rotom-Wash
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Modest
EVs: 144 HP, 252 Sp. Att, 112 Speed
~Thunderbolt
~Hydro Pump
~Hidden Power [Fire]
~Will-o-Wisp

Some of you may be thinking, "what no Pain Split?". One simple reason; Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn would completely wall Rotom. So, I decided to change Pain Split with Hidden Power [Fire]. It also deals with those trolls who think I can't stop their Venusaur in sun. Generally a OHKO or rarely a 2HKO. Thunderbolt is basic for Rotom, as is Hydro Pump for this variant. Will-o-Wisp completely destroys physical tanks.

Virizion
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Justified
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd
~Calm Mind
~Giga Drain
~Focus Blast
~Hidden Power [Ice]

An excellent Special based Pokemon. Virizion is one of the most hated Pokemon against Politoed. Start out with Calm Mind to get some boost, and then hit away with Giga Drain, Focus Blast, or Hidden Power. Another reason I added Virizion was because of Ferrothorn's Leech Seed. I had no one that could avoid it. And I certainly didn't want to waste a turn to swap out. Not to mention Virizion's decent Special Attack can handle Ferrothorn with 1-2 Focus Blast. Gliscor and Landorus hate this set, as it comes with Hidden Power [Ice]. And of course, Giga Drain is for recovery.

Past Members:

Terrakion
Item: Life Orb
Ability: Justified
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
~Close Combat
~Rock Slide
~Quick Attack
~Protect

What a boss. Terrakion is one of my favorite Pokemon ever. It is so underrated. With huge Attack and a trolling Speed, this guy can sweep an entire team in matter of seconds. Close Combat pwns Ferrothorn, not to mention a 2HKO on Skarmory with Rock Slide (I'll have to watch for max Defense EV investment). Quick Attack makes people lol, until they realize it just KOed their sweeper. Protect gives me a chance to anticipate their next attack, and can deal some extra damage with sandstorm active.

I decided to cut Terrakion after I realized I only had one Special based Pokemon. Once Rotom got KOed, I would have trouble with Physical walls like Gliscor and Skarmory. Tyranitar usually handles them, but there are the cases where Gliscor can survive an Ice Beam and attack back with Earthquake.

Earthquake hits Jellicent harder than Shadow Claw so I would suggest Return to hit Gliscor harder.
And also I would suggest HP Ice over Outrage on Landorus.

I actually just rated somebody's team that was quite similar to this one, save for like 2 pokemon.

The first thing I notice is you have 4 Pokémon weak to water. Ttar, Land bro, Excadrill, and Terrakion. At the same time, you've only got 1 resistance to water (Wash Rotom), and washtom isn't the most bulky Pokémon in the entire world. I think you need a grass type like Ferrothorn, Celebi, or Virizion in here. i would swap out one of your sand sweepers (maybe Terrakion) to make you less weak to water, and give you an extra resistance. Ferrothorn could set up Leech Seed and Spikes which would help rack up damage in the long run, Celebi would give you a good backup sweeper in Nasty Plot, Virizion does the same except with Calm Mind.

What do the EV's on Rotom do? The standard is 128 HP/252 SpAtt/128 Speed with modest, so is there a reason you switched it up a bit? Do survive a specific hit or something?

uhh why is there speed EVs and a Sassy nature? Does that actually outpseed anything? if not I'd just pump the rest into Sp.Atk or defense or something.

Put those extra EVs in Special Defense to eliminate Lati@s with Pursuit. On Excadrill make sure you max out happiness on Pokemon Online's Teambuilder to avoid having a painfully weak attack. I suggest Stone Edge over Rock Slide on Landorus because the power drop is significant, and also use Hammer Arm over Outrage for better coverage.

Slick if I were you, change the 80 EVs in speed to SpD. It helps Tyranitar become more of a SpD tank and the speed EVs are almost useless because of the Sassy nature. Also with Excadrill it's optional, but with Adamant, Excadrill gets more extra power because Sand Rush already doubles it's speed to around the 400s or 500s. It's just my opinion so either keep Jolly or change it for Adamant for more power.

You're tyranitar should use more physical moves cause it's attack stat is where it shines. But a multiple type moveset works too.

Thanks SA =D

Oh and thank you everyone else for the great suggestions. Feel free to leave more (please :<)

Well they normally don't get a Growth in with Sun-powered HP Fire OHKOing them. Rotom's higher HP lets it survive Solarbeam/Energy Ball without a boost.

If they do get it in, I'd swap to Jirachi or Tyranitar.

A good Venusaur player can easily get a growth in. They switch in on something that can't hit them for super effective damage, sleep powder the opponent's counter as the opponent switches, and then they growth as you either stay sleeping or switch. Then they outspeed and OHKO everything other than heatran. I think Heatran may deserve a spot in this deck because it walls any grass type along with many other top threats, is immune to sandstorm, and hits hard. Of course, he is another water weakness, which you may not want.
