Gaya flinched as the arrows struck the grass. Still, they hadn't caused much damage, as they could only stab a small amount of the ground. The grass shrank back for a moment when the arrows had punctured the earth, but it began its creep towards the edge.

*ring of black fire surrounds everything*

Gaya sighed. Still, he had half the arena's earthy power, enough to destroy the fool. He raised his hand. A vine with poisoned spikes erupted from the ground. It then chased towards the man with the shadow flames, hacking wildly.

*Lighting from the sky strikes Shadow*

"This power its amazing!Now fear my wrath Phoenix shadow the vine was gone in a instant"

Gaya didn't expect the vine to kill him. It served as a distraction. What happened was that the flames had gone out for him to use another power. Gaya cleverly had drawn attention to the grass earlier, so that his enemy would become accustomed to him telling him when the grass was spreading. Now, he wouldn't notice it as easily. To keep him distracted, Gaya sent more vines towards his opponent.

Gotcha. You didn't defend yourself from the vines. I get an auto-hit. Read an exerpt from page 1:

Okay...

Gaya was surprised that the ranger didn't defenend himself from the second wave of vines. Still, he accepted the advantage. One faded under the volley of arrows. The other two slashed and attacked him. His bow was smashed in two, and he had several poisonous wounds. The poison would strengthen over time and would increase in power as more grass appeared. Gaya sent for more grass to be grown.

EDIT: Gaya felt footsteps on the grass. He turned just in time to duck under a blade that sliced his forehead. He cringed from the wound, then faded underground, only to reappear behind Dark with a wooden sword in his hand, about to strike...

*Drinks it*

"Good the poison is gone but these wounds hurt"

Gaya sent another three vines at the Ranger while he was distracted with his healing potion.

EDIT: Also, your bow is smashed in two. You can't shoot arrows, unless you have another bow.

The arrows hit him, and he slows down a bit...

My and Gaya were fighting I forgot about his vines they hit me i get my other bow i shot it out you i drink my potion the grass spreed

The entire arena turned green. Gaya's eyes turned green. He smiled. He had control now.

He set a few traps that involved slashing, poisoned vines.
