Well if I had a choice, I'd say the real star of this deck is Scott ;D Just kidding. It's that same old story, had no one to play with during childhood and now all of a sudden I do, at the age of 14. People look down on me but I say I'm finally living. Or something like that anyway.

Strategy :
Deck my opponent with my lack of basics before the game officially starts
So I have two options, Eevee or Chikorita to lead my advance on the enemy's forces. Both of my Chikorita can inflict an annoying status (Sleep or Poison) for one colourless Energy, and that can stall out for awhile. If I start with Eevee, I generally stick a Water Energy on to it and use Energy Evolution to get Vaporeon out first turn (I am allowed to do that right) or I get Espeon out to kind of sit there for a while until I can start Solar Suggestion or Psybeam. Chances or Celio's Network will be in my hand at the start, too, so I use it to either get out Bayleef (if I have Chikorita as lead) or another Eevee (I'll Energy evolve that next turn). Either way I'll get out Meganium or the Eeveelutions pretty quickly due to my stack of trainer cards that have good drawing power. Sitrus Berries are there for stall, Stone's Project gives me back my Psychic Energies (if they are removal'd) or just Energy cards in general, Scotts are good for getting out Projects, Networks, Strange Cave to set up Kabuto or even more Scotts. Kabutops with Luring Antenna and Primal Stare can stop some heavy hitters (like my friend's Rampardos (Hasty Headbutt) from coming out and Armaldo is there for some good, resistance-less damage for a Boost Energy.
Previous variations on this I had before was a full fossil approach, using Aerodactyl with React Energys and Swift Blow to sweep late-game (But I notice it's been overshadowed by Meganium nowadays) and Omanyte - Omastar can either Pull Down or (as an Omanyte) assist my leading Kabutops by making its attacks unaffected by resistance. I eventually swapped them out for the 2-2-1 Meganium, which with Evolutionary Call and Delta Reduction is very annoying for my opponent.
Any suggestions as to make this better? If I had more doubles from Dragon Frontier or Legend Makers I would use them, but sadly enough I don't. There is a chance I won't have the cards you recommend me, like a bunch of trainers or the newer cards, but I will try my best to comply with your suggestions
