you know, i talk to alot of people and they all like the song viva la vida. Do you?? oh and by the way, did it win a grammy? (or whatever its called) i thought that i heard that it was nominated to win one.
 
It's a great song. I like the tune and the lyrics. I hate it when people that shouldn't sing it sing it. *CoughMattcoughGiraudcough*

Why did you have to remind me of Matt? :'(

The lyrics in a way are like Chocolate Rain. It has an outwardly meaning (simple meaning), and it has an inward meaning (you have to look past the simple lyrics to find this meaning).

Overall, Viva La Vida is a great song. I wouldn't be surprised if it got some award.

~Side note: Viva La Vida means celebrate life(poorly translated by yours truely)~
 
Well, if you directly translate it, I believe its "Live the Life". But this is coming from someone who got a C in Spanish 2 =D
 
The kid with a C in a normal spanish II class is probaby correct, when the kid with an A+ in Spanish II Honors is probably wrong. D:
 
What about the A in Spanish 5 AP? ;o Nah, I don't know what you guys are talking about Spanish for. I thought it had English lyrics...

It does mean "Live the Life" or "Live life". And I only took Latin for two years you fuels!

(fuel seems to be the new trendy thing to call people)
 
Terrible and overhyped song. End of coldplay as I knew them and liked them (though never really did like them so....just killed them).

alrighty... i am glad you all finally figured out that it was live the life because i knew it before i even posted this thread ^-^ dont worry, i am just joshin with you guys =]
 
Viva la vida isn't only rock. We played it in my school orchestra.
