(Before we start, I would like to make clear that not everybody playing DialgaChomp is a noob. A lot of people are starting to think this because a lot of others are just starting to use this deck for their 'post-rotation' deck. Many of us have been playing it for a long time, and have found many levels of success.)

Let's face it, DialgaChomp became a rare thing starting around States last season. Everybody dropped it for their Luxray GL Lv.X varients. But now the "Dark Horse" of SP is back to the format! With all the body-relying decks and trainer-relying decks, it will threaten the entire format. Yes, LuxChomp, too. By using new cards and adding and tweaking as they came out, DialgaChomp survived and evolved into a force to be reckoned with. Now, many new cards have been tested and tried during this period. They include:

*Card Name* - *How it performed when put in DialgaChomp*

DCE - Very Successful
Energy Exchange Unit - Successful
Uxie Lv.X - Semi-Successful (Switching isn't one of its strengths.)
Donphan Prime - Failed
Judge - Failed
PONT - Successful
Copycat - Failed
Pokemon Collector - Very Successful
ToxiTank - Status Unknown - Testing in progress...
Drifblim UD - Status Unknown - Testing in progress...
Champion's Room - Successful
Dragonite FB - Successful
Drifblim FB - Failed

There are others I haven't mentioned. I have played this deck since States and have tested all of these (or am testing, for some). If yoiu have any other opinions on these or want to know my reasoning, please (calmly) state your opinion or just ask away! Thanks for reading and have a nice day! :)

Uxie X is quite easy to get on the field, provided you pack at least one Unown Q. Just a matter of Q'ing your Uxie, Warp Energy Dialga back, send out Uxie, digivolve to Uxie X, free retreat Uxie, send out Chomp, Bronzong the energy to him, Healing Breath, Poketurn.
Thats why I dont find much room for DCE. Warp Energy is IMO too much NEEDED.

lol, so for your combo you need Warp, Uxie Lv.X, Garchomp C, GCX, Unown Q, Bronzong G, and a way to search out all of that. I say either PONT or use Uxie's attack to send him back to the deck. I need: Warp, Bronzong, Bebe's. I have trainers that search out every one of those. I don't have 'em? PONT to get a whole new hand. You're going to use all of those resources so that you have a Poke'Dex each turn. I'm using less to get Claydol-like consistency for a few turns of my choice. Uxie Lv.X has too many cons to weigh out its pros. That's especially bad when DGX has a {C}{C} Retreat Cost, should you not have a warp.

I also agree with the Uxie X point Rikko145 has
btw, have you tested toxitank in DialgaChomp? with the lost of Unown G, I guess dialgachomp needs TOxitank for its machamp matchup

Oh, thanks for reminding me. I did test ToxiTank, but it didn't do very well. Of course, we didn't have some of the consistency cards we have now, so I'm going to re-test it. I'll add it to the list! :D

A better Stadium people have found is Ruins of Alph to really hurt Luxray.

dmaster out.

The only thing is, there are much more important things to put in instead of things like ruins of alph, but yeah if your playing toxitank its a good choice.

I am also thinking of Honchkrow G to have a sure access to stadiums if you are playing Toxitank.
in my version, I played
1 dark
1 sableye (because of the dark energy for a possible donk)
1 honchkrow G
1-1 Toxitank
2 Stadiums

no chatot, no call energies, no drifblim FB

but I haven't playtest-ed it enough and I dunno if it can really work.

I think driftblim > Toxitank. You need like 3 cards in play plus an energy and an e-gain whilst the stadium isnt searchable. So basically you have 4 stadium, 1-1 toxitank or have a 1-1 driftblim and use the other 4 spaces to consistency.

I found that the best stadium is probably Contest Hall.

Sounds weird, I know, but if you don't have DGX out on the field, and you're under trainer lock, how else can you get an energy gain attached to your bench guys?

Okay, guys, I have tested most of these, and I will add them to the list.

Konter - Yes, the one you're refering to is mine. I played Champion's Room at Nationals and it was a part of my success.
Azelf Master - I found Drifblim FB to be a waste of time. It was slow, clunky, inconsistent, and situational. I'm sarting to test Drifblim UD, and I found Dragonite FB to be fairly good, also.
dmaster - I'll look into it...
minimidget - I agree, but I'll test it and see how it does.
tc19930815 - You shouldn't run any Sableye in DialgaChomp, because going first hurts you, it's a dead draw late game, and the odds of donking are very low. Honchkrow is a good card for it, though, if you have the space.
Kashmaster - It's not actually that hard to do. Plus, it gives you the benefit of poison, usually a OHKO on Machamps, being a counter to Machamp decks, not just a single 'one and done' Machamp. Plus, it lasts longer than Drifblim, garunteed, so all that setting up wasn't for nothing, like it would be when you shuffle Drifblim back in. However, Drifblim is very good against tank decks.
Mr.619 - I see your point, but it helps your opponent too much. If they're under Deafen lock it helps them. If you're under Spiritomb lock it helps them by letting them belt somethhing AND evolve it. It's a good idea, but it's highly situational.

i agree with this. i've tested both champion's room and alph, and the ability to do damage while deafening and OHKO a non-leveled luxray is a big advantage, especially considering most luxchomps don't play stadiums.

>Rikko145

if i am to take out sableye, should i use chatot or smeargle or lucario GL? (provided that i have tech-ed in toxitank)

exige- I don't see Ruins of Alph as being very helpful. It actually hurts you in Gengar matchup.

tc19930815 - definitely Lucario GL.
GHJamesGH - Dragonite FB says "successful"

it seems that Rikko you are quite alert of the gengar matchup. will honchkrow G fit in most suitably? do you also recommend a 2-2 dialga G line? i have played dialgachomp quite a lot and it seems that the 3rd dialga G is always an extra.

luxchomp is in my opinion a more dangerous matchup than pretty much any gengar variation. i'd rather play a card that helps me against a deck i'll be playing in later rounds of a tournament than not play it because it gives me a small setup vs. a deck that i'm really overall not worried about.
