I'm a big fan when it comes to writing my own story, and i've written about seven in note books and ten on the computer.
i want to write a new one, and i will of course use my main character, Max whose team is:

Okay, heres an update:
1. Nercinator's character, Jay, has filled the position of my male co-character.

2. Still looking for two female characters

3.Posting on this thread will be allowed once the story starts: however, you can only post comments on the story.  any suggestions or ideas are to be sent through p/m.

4. anyone who wants their character in the story, the criteria i need is in the previous post, but i also need a mini bio. like, what region/city youre from and pick one of the legues you were in that you won. this story is about a tournement that only the best got into, so we've got to give you at least one legue victory. inclue anything else i should no.

5. also let me know if any of your guys are shiny or not, but no more than two or three.

6. i've decided to create a enemy team, 2 males, 2 females.  same criteria needed.  note: if you are female, please tell me if you want to be a co-character or a enemy.

If possible please do not choose Pokemon that I or MaxPokemonMaster have chosen. The more variety the more interesting the battles can be. I realize that one or two might overlap, but try not to use pokemon that have already been used twice (such as Charizard).

Dawn.  Normally, Max would be waking up right now, but he had gone to Professor Oak's lab three hours before.
the reason was because the gym leaders of kanto, orange islands, johto, and hoenn were gathering at the lab, along with former champions lance and steven, as well as scott and the frontier brains.

everyone was there already, and lance was elected to speak first.
"I think i speak for everyone when i say, what is the Ultimate Tournement?"
"We know this," said Watson, the leader from Mauville, "Trainers need to obtain all the badges and frontier symbols."
"I have heard they must go through the Moutn Battle challange," said Flint of Pewter.
"Well," said Steven Stone, the future heir of Devon Corp., "I've recieved a letter saying that the person running the tournament will send us a message explaining this, so that is why i've called everyone here."
"How long till it gets here?" asked Frontier Champion Max.
"Should be-"
Steven was cut off by a delibird pecking away at the window.  Falkner of Violet City opened the window, and the Delibird handed him a large, yellow envelope.
Falkner handed the parcel to the professor, and Oak opened it.  inside of it was a CD.  Oak put it into his computer, and the leaders and MAx gathered around the computer.
The sillouette of a man appeared on the screen.  in a deep, and altered voice, he said, "Attention Leaders and Brains.  I am holding a tournement to prove who the strongest trainers are in the world.  I ask this message be broadcast over the airwaves.  the rules are as follows:
1.Obatain the twenty-eight badges of Kanto, Hoenn, Johto, and Orange Islands, as well as the seven silver and seven gold symbols of battle frontier.
2.Show the Badges to a representative at Mount Battle and defeat the Mount Battle challange.
3.Upon deafeating the Mount Battle Challange, the reprsentative will give coordinates to the arena where the tournement will take place.  
Thank you."
the message was over.
"Should we trust him?" asked Flannery of Lavaridge.
"I say we shouldnt go with this," said Whitany of Goldenrod.
"On the contrary," said Winona of Fortree, "I think we should."
"I agree," said Morty of Ekruteak, "All we have to do is battle trainers, its no different than our current jobs."
"But what if its a trap?" asked Juan of Sootopolis.
"It's a risk trainers will make," said Max, "I can tell you from experience, that when a trainer sees a challenge, they take it, trap or not.  I guarentee trainers will find out the rules and take the challenge."
"How do you know?" asked Lt. Surge of Vermillion, "We dont have to give this message out."
"You dont have to, but while you guys were arguing, my Furret has already taken flight on my Charizard with that CD, and is taking to the biggest loud-mouth in Hoenn."
"WHAT??  NO!!!" yelled everyone simotaniously.

that nioght on the news:
"This is Gabby with the 5-o'clock news," said Gabby, "Tonight's top story, The Ultimate tournament.  here is a message to all trainers"
she played the message the Max's Furret had brought her, and then MAx clicked the TV off.  his Aunt Kim said to him, "So, you arent staying long, i take it?"
"Sorry, but i love a challenge, and the world knows it."
"Alright. just be careful."

the next morining, Max headed to Pewter to have a battle against Flint. He stopped in Viridian, when he saw someone knocking on the door of the gym there.  the boy said, "Hellooooooooo!!!!!!  C'mon!!! i've been here before, i know there's a leader here!!!!"
"He left," said Max as he walked up to him, "I drove him out."
"Why?  i need the Earth Badge!  i need to get into the ultimate tournement!"
"1. He was the leader of team rocket, and 2. i'm going to the ultimate tournament too, name's Max Shade, Battle Frontiers current champ."
"Jay, Kanto's current champ.  so when will they appoint a new gym leader?"
"Soon, but dont forget, there are still forty one more badges and symbols, i'm sure that'll be plenty of time."
"So where are u heading?"
"Pewter City, hey, why dont we go together?  traveling on your own is pretty boring."
"Alright!  sounds fun.  are we going through the forest?"
"Yep."
with his new friend, Max headed into Viridian Forrest.  what happened next was not plesent for the duo.  
a girl just under five and a half feet with long, brown hair was riding an Arcanine using Extreme Speed, chasing something in the sky, yelling, "Come back here thieves!!!"
Max and Jay looked at each other, and each threw out a Pokéball.
"Charizard!  Go!" they both yelled, they looked at each other, and said, "Nice."
they hopped onto thier respective Charizard, and flew close to the ground to catch up to the girl.  Max said, "Hop on!"
Without hesitation, she jumped onto Max's Charizard with him, and returned her Arcanine.  She said, "Follow that plane in the air!  its Team Galaxy!  they stole five of my Pokémon!"
in unison, the Charizards flew into the air above the clouds.  Max said, "Go, Alakazam and Lairon.  Teleport!"
Alakazam grabbed Lairon and dissappeared.  a few seconds later, there were fire, thunder, ice, and psychic attacks shooting out of the plane.  Alakazam reappeared, levitating Lairon and five POkéballs.
"Altaria, go!" yelled Jay.
the girl took her Pokemon back, and said, "Salamence, go!"
"Nidoking!  lets roll!" said Max, and Nidoking landed on the girl's Salamence.  
"Furret, Charizard, Nidoking!"
"Charizard, Altaria!"
"Salamence!"
"HYPER BEAM!"
the six Hyper Beams destroyed the plane, as several humans could be seen falling with parachutes.

the group landed outside Pewter city, and Each got out some PokeChow for thier Pokemon that had just battled.
"My name is Shadow," said the girl, "Thanks for the help."
"No problem," said Jay, "Its what trainers do."
"So you said that was team galaxy?" asked Max.
"Yeah." said Shadow, "They're from a far out region, but they've been showing up a lot around here lately"
"Hm...probably expanding thier territory now that Team Rocket is gone."
"Yeah, so anyway, i've got to get to Pewter, i need the Boulder Badge to get into the Ultimate Tournament."
"Hey!" said Jay, "That's where we're headed!"
"Cool.  would you mind if i tagged along?"
"Not at all!" said Max, "Let's pack up and head out, Pewter awaits!"

And so, with new friends and a new tournament, Max heads toward Pewter City to do something he thought he'd never do again, battle for a Boulder Badge!  and with the new team Galaxy, Max knows that evil still resides in the world.

I really like your fics because of two things. One it has battles, which normally they never happen in any fanfic. Two your story writting is knew unlike the extremly descriptive type of FanFics that everyone think is good, but never discirbes anything or goes anywhere in the story. Nicely done, your experience shows in these stories.

I love it. I was surprised that trainers (other than Rockets/Galaxy/Magma/Aqua) using more than one pokemon a trainer. Can't wait to read more.

okay, so far, i can see everyone likes the story, and now everyone wants to be in it! i am now going to say no to being in the story if you are a boy, cuz i've got two more. girls however are gladly welcomed (No more than 3). i'll post when those spots are filled.

The new friends made their way into Pewter city, and went to the gym.  it was kinda late, they had lost track of time with thier chase of Galaxy.
"Lets go to the Pokemon Center," said Shadow, "It's late and our pokemon need a good rest for the gym battles tomorrow."
"Agreed," said Jay, "It'll be a long day."

they made their way to the center for the night, and slept on couches in the lobby.  
since no one else was there, they let out all of their pokemon.  Max had with him Furret, Charizard, Nidoking, Totodile, Lairon, and a different colored Alakazam.  Shadow had her Arcanine, Charmeleon, Jolteon, Salamence, Milotec, and Flygon.  as for Jay, he had with him a Charizard, Starmie, Aggron, Tauros, Altaria, and Shiftry.

the next morning, Max woke up, and realized, he wasnt in the pokemon center!  he was in a cage with Shadow, Jay, and all his pokemon!  his Totodile, still a baby, came up to him, scared.  he said, "Totodile, I dont think we're in Kanto anymore."
"You can say that again." said Shadow.
"Galaxy came to the center last night with knock out gas," said Jay, "I dont think they were too happy with our actions."
"Well well," said a guy in the galaxy uniform, most likely an admin, "You've all come to."
"What do you want?!?" yelled Shadow.
"You destroyed our cargo plane, we had important information on that plane."
"and my pokemon!"
"Why dont you put a sock in it girl, like women are supposed to."
Shadow turned to her friends, and said, "Did he just?"
They nodded.
"Flygon, Salamence, Charmeleon, Aracanine, Fire Blast!"
the four pokemon let out intensly hot flames, and literally melted the bars of the cage into liquid metal.  
"Tauros, Aggron, go!" said Jay.
"alright team!" said MAx to his pokemon who were still out, "ATTACK!!!!!!!"
the hord of Pokemon began ramming thier way through the place they were in (They werent too sure what this place was), with Shadow on Arcanine, Jay on Tauros, and MAx on Charizard.  Sparks were flying at Galaxy grunts trying to stop them, as well as ice shards, flames, kinetic blasts, and high pressuered water.  
they made their way to a door without windows that said, "EMERGENCY EXIT"
"Open it!" said Jay to his Aggron.
"ROO-AAA-RRRRRR!"
Aggron charged the door, and knocked it off with everyone following.  and they flew right out the blimp they were on!
Furret Grabbed Totodile and got into Max's Pack, and the MAx returned Lairon, charizard, and Nidoking, and said, "Alakazam, Kinesis!"
"ALA-KAZAM!"
Alakazam's eyes glew an eerie purple, and the trainers and pokemon slowly levitated to the ground.
once back on their feet, Jay said, "I hope MPM doesnt start every day like this."
"Who?" said Shadow and Max.
"I dont know, just came out of no where.  W/E"

the team made their way to the gym, and met with Flint, the leader.  flint said, "Good to see you all."
"NEver thought i'd come back here," said MAx
"Anyway, a new rule has been added to this tournement."
"What?" asked Shadow.
"The battles will all be three on three."
"So?" asked jay, "Aint nothing we havent done before, my pokemon are all in sync with each other."
"No, that means three trainers on one leader.  the leader uses three pokemon and each trainer only uses one.  i take it you three are partners?"
"Um..." said MAx, "We havent really kown each other that long."
"LEts give it a shot," said Shadow, "We're all respected champs, right?  I think if anything, teaming up will give us a great advantage"
"I'm game!" said Jay.
"why not?" said MAx, "Flint!  WE challange you to a gym battle!"
"very well," said Flint, "Take your stand on the other side of the field."

the battle was about to begin.  Flint's son, Forrest, was the ref.
"This battle is for the Ultimate Tournements Boulder Badge!  BEgin!"said Forrest.
"Golem, Steelix, Rhydon, GO!!" said Flint as his massive pokemon appeared.
"Go Starmie!" said Jay.
"Milotec, i choose you!" said Shadow.
"Go, Nidoking!" said Max.
"Golem, Rhydon, Thunder bolt on the water types!" yelled flint.
"Nidoking, intercept!" ordered MAx.  NIdoking jumped in the was of the thunderbolts, and absorbed the attack.
"Milotec, Hydro Pump!" yelled Shadow
"Starmie, Blizzard!" Yelled jay
"Nidoking, Fire Blast!"
Milotec hit Rhydon hard with its hydro pump, while Starmie's blizzard froze golem solid, and the fireblast instantly koed steelix.
"Flint's team is unable to battle, the challengers win!!!!!!" said Forrest.

After the battle, flint gave each team member a Boulder Badge, the first of many tokens into mount battle.
"Max," said Flint before they left, "Find out exactly whats going on.  The leaders dont like this at all, but we need to know who is behind this."
"Dont worry," said Max, "I intend to."

And so, with the first of 28 badges under their hats, the team headed toward mount moon, which would take theem to Cerulean city to battle Misty for a Cascade badge.  but, with their heads marked by Galaxy, it may be a harded task than they originally thought.

Alright should be capitalized and MAx should be changed to Max. This happens a lot in the story:

Furret Grabbed Totodile and got into Max's Pack, and the MAx returned Lairon, charizard, and Nidoking, and said, "Alakazam, Kinesis!"

as the trio came up upon mount moon, they realized that the entrance was closed off! there were several construction men guarding the passage.
"What's going on?" asked Jay
"Sorry kids," said one of the men, "We'll have to ask you to leave."
"WHy cant we go through?" asked Ally.
"It's dangerous in there, giant Moon Stones have been falling latly, its too dangerous for a few teens."
"Too dangerous?" asked Max, "LEt me tell you about danger, bub. Danger is going into the middle of a pokemon battle, jumping onto a mid-flight Charizard, and destroying an entire blimp from the inside and making it out alive. Danger is jumping off of Lawrence's flying contraption, and hopeing that your pokemon are at the right location at the right time. and i've been in MOunt Moon during this Moon Stone falling, and there is no danger if you stick to the paths, which tell s me that your definition of danger is gonna be eighteen POkemon whipping your butt if you dont let us through!"
"that's it, we're caught! Go solrock!"
other guys sent out Solrocks, Lunatones, and Clafables, and whipped off their disguises, revealing their Galaxy uniforms!
"For the love of Starmie!" yelled Jay, "Why wont the author listen!"
once again, Ally and Max stared at him.
"I dont know why i keep saying things like that! But now aint the time! Go Shiftry!"
"C'mon out Totodile!" yelled Max.
"Jolteon, go!" said Ally.
"Everyone!" yelled the Galaxy grunt, "Use Psychic!"
the group yelled out, "Psychic!"
"Jolteon, Light Screen!" ordered Ally.
"Jolt!"
Jolteon Jumped in front of Shiftry and Totodile, projecting an energy barrier protecting them from the massive attack. but it wasnt enough. Jolteon was struggling, and gettin pushed back; the attack was too powerful.
"Shiftry, Light Screen!" yelled Jay.
Shiftry got up next to Jolteon, and helped to boost the strength of the Light Screen. but, then one grunt ordered his Clefable to use Mega Punch, a Pysichal attack.

The trio headed into Mount Moon.  inside were Clafairy and Clafable, dancing around the giant Moon Stonehalfway through.
"So," said Max, "Why is your name Shadow?"
"It it was the name given to me be the Pokemon who raised me," replied Shadow.
"Wow," said Jay, "What Pokemon were they?"
"They dont really want me to say, maybe one day they stop by and you can meet them."
"Uh-huh," said Max, "Well, what kind of leagues have you guys won?"
"Um," said Jay, "I have won the Indigo League, and am the defending champ."
"Orange Islands, Hoenn," said Shadow, "And a few private tournaments in the south; what about you?"
"A few regional tournements, and i'm the reining Battle Frontier champ," said Max, "Hey, we're almost there."
they saw the end of the tunnel, and left it.  once outside, they could see Cerulean City.  Shadow said, "So this is Cerulean City, i've always wanted to visit this place.  i hear there's an amazing cape north of here."
"The Cerulean Cape?" asked Jay, "Yeah, its pretty cool up there.  Doesn't Bill live up there?"
"Who's Bill?" asked Shadow.
"Only the biggest PokéManiac to live!" said Max, "He's got tons of cool stuff, maybe we can visit tomorrow, he said he had something for me to add to my PokéGear."
"Okay, but for now, lets focus on the Cascade Badge!"

the trio went into the city and to the gym.  it had a giant statue of a Dewgong on it.  they walked into the gym, and ran into Misty, the sister of the gym leaders, and Jay said, "Where's Daisy, Lily, and Violet??" in an eager voice.
"On vacation," said misty, "Again..."
"So are you running the gym here?" asked Shadow.
"Yep!  I take you all came for the Ultimate Cascade Badge?"
"We sure did," said Max, he then looked at Jay, "Cheer up, i'm sure they'll be at the tournement with the rest of the leaders."
Misty groaned, and Jay said, "Alright, if you say so."

the arena was a giant pool with several circular platforms in it.
The Nurse Joy that worked in the gym was the ref, and she said, "The following match will be three on three!  Each challenger gets one pokemon, and Misty chooses three.  If the challengers win, they will each recive the Ultimate Tournements Cascade Badge!"
"Okay!" said Misty, "Starmie, Kingdra, Gyarados, go!!"
"I choose you Starmie!" said Jay.
"Milotic, go!" said Shadow.
"Nidoking, lets roll!" said MAx.
Shadow and Jay looked at Max skeptically, and Max said, "What?"
"Begin!" yelled Joy.
"Nidoking, Dive!"
"RRROOOAAARRR!"
Nidoking jumped into the pool, and Jay Shadow, as well as Misty told thier pokemon the same.
They knew then and there, that this would be an underwater battle!
"Starmie, Psychic!" yelled Jay.
"KI-YAH!"
Starmie's jem on its center began to glow, and began to move kingdra toward the surface.
"Gyarados, Starmie, use Whirlpool!" said Misty.
the two Pokemon began to swim around the trio of pokemon, and they were trapped within a whirlpool.
"Milotic," said Shadow, "try to reverse it by swimming in the oppisite direction!"
Miltoic began to swim in the other direction, but it wasnt enough to stop the whirlpool.
"Nidoking," said Max, "Use a clock-wise Horn Drill!"
"KROOOAAARRR"
Nidoking's horn began spinning in the oppisite direction of the whrilpool, and slowly enough, the whirlpool stopped.
"Kingdra, Gyarados," said Misty, "Twister!"
The two began to form funnels of water that were bashing into their opponents.  
"Hey," said Max to Jay, "Does your Starmie know Thunder?"
"Not yet," said Jay, "But it does know Thunderbolt!"
"Use it.  Shadow, tell Milotic to jump out of the water, then we'll use out electric attacks."
"I've got a better idea," said Shadow, "Milotic, Protect!"
Milotec created a green energy field around it to protect it from the upcoming attack by its commrads.
"Thunderbolt!" yelled Jay.
"Thunder!" yelled Max.
the two were underwater with the rest of them, and electrified the whole pool!
Misty's Pokemon floated to the surface, knocked out.
"The challengers win!" said Joy.
"Return!" said Misty.
Milotic and Starmie swam over to their respective trainers and got prise for their battle.  Nidoking got out of the pool and began using Overheat to evaporate the water off of him.
Misty walked over to them, and said, "I had a bad feeling you would use Nidoking again.  Thats how you beat me the first time."
"Still dont know why he likes the water," said Max, "But its an effective ability for a ground-Type."
"If only i could get my Fire-Types to go underwater," said Shadow.
"Here," said Misty, "The Cascade Badges."
"Thanks," said Jay, "And please give this to your sisters for me."
He handed her a slip of paper, and Misty said, "This is a PokeGear number."
"I know."
Starmie shocked its trainer.
"Ow." said Jay, "Return."
Everyone laughed, and Max said, "Well, we'll see you later Misty, we're going to visit Bill before we head toward Vermillion."
"Good luck in your battles." she replied
"Thanks," said Shadow.

the group healed their Pokemon at the Center, and then headed north.  they reached a small cape witha lone cottage on it.
"Cerulean Cape." said Jay.
"C'mon," said Max, "I need to talk with Bill."
they knocked on his front door, and there was no answer.  the door then became ajar, and Max quickly realized that the lock had been broken.  they stepped inside, and it looked like a herd of tauros had rampaged through it.
"Bill?!?" yelled Max.
"Arcanine go!" said Shadow.
the arcanine went sniffing around for clues, as did Max's Furret.  Arcanine grabbed a piece of paper and handed it to Shadow, who read the note aloud, '"If someone finds this, it means i have been taken against my will.  Whoever took me is after myself for my knowlege of Pokemon as well as usage of my storage system to alter its programming and take everyone's Pokemon in it.  PLease save me.

Within seconds, the trio had rode Arcanine using Extreme Speed to make their way to the POkemon Center.
Once inside, Max got on the computer with Oak, who transfered him his Aerodactyl and Haunter for his Totodile and Larion.  then, jay traded his Aggron, Tauros, and Shiftry for his Beautifly, Pidgeot, and Scizor.  then, Shadow traded in her Arcanine and Milotic for her own Scizor and Dragonair.  Why?  they were all flying Pokemon.  and if there was one thing they had all learned in their travels, it was evil likes to ride in the air!

They took to the sky on Aerodactyl, with Alakazam using his Future Sight to direct Aerodactyl.  Meanwhile, Max's Charizard and haunter, Jay's Charizard, Altaria, Beautifly, Pidgeot, and Scizor, and Shadow's Flygon, Salamence, Scizor, and Dragonair had gone off ahead to look for the criminals.
"Anything Alakazam?" asked Max.  Alakazam shook his head.
Then, the Pokemon all returned, unaware of the location of Bill.

The tro flew into Vermillion at a late hour, and after returning their teams to how they were previously, they got on the Video-Phone with Oak.
"So," said Oak, "They're after the storage system."
"Yeah," said Shadow, "THat way, they can obtain all the POkemon."
"Hey Professor," said Max, "Isnt it true that the storage systems are linked to the labs of you and other Pokemon professors?"
"Yes, why?" replied Oak.
"Well, i was thinking you could give your collleagues a call to disengage the storage system."
"What? You know we've never done that. The only time that happened was during the war, and we didnt do that ourselves."
"Look, i know; but if you think of the millions of trainers, who each have probably at least six pokemon each, who use the storage system, youre talking about billions of Pokemon being stolen if they figure out Bill's password."
"I suppose your right...but what if the thieves come here?"
"Use my Aerodactyl to take everyone's Pokemon to Mr. Stone in Rustboro, I'm sure he'll be more than happy to take them in. Also, contact the news stations, and send out a message to trainers that if they want to switch up their teams, they'll have to see the nearest professor to find out where their Pokemon are."
"Alright, I'll see to it that is done MAx, and best of luck to you."
Oak hung up.
"Man!" said Jay.
"What?" asked Shadow.
"Its just not making sense, all this stuff happening now. I mean, first, we've got a tournament that requires so much achivement just to get in, and its being held by a guy who we dont even know who he is; then Team Galaxy shows up shortly after, and now this! i think there may be a connection."
""I think he's got a point Max; this is weird. Maybe we shouldnt do this anymore, it might be too dangerous."
"No," said Max, "If there's a conspiracy, its gonna be us who figure it out, and there's only one way to do that: Win the Ultimate Tournament!"

And so, with a PokeManiac missing among other strange happenings, Max convinces his new friends to stick with him. But what lies ahead in Vermillion?

keep in mind this was only a sketch, and if he does more for the story, he'll be coloring them and take some more time to do them.  here it is:

Morning; and not a very happy one for the group.
They headed outside, and the sun was still rising as they went toward the gym.
OUtside the gym, the leader was traing with his Magneton, Electabuzz, and Raichu.  the pokemon seemed to be running some kind of drills, and Then, the leader came up to them, and said, "Well well: if it aint Max.  i never go the chance to tank you for rescuing me during the war, but I'm afraid another one may be on its way."
"Knowing the world," said Max, "More than likely."
"Well!  I assume you didnt come here just for a chat, did you?"
"No sir!" said Jay.
"We're here for the Thunder Badge." said Shadow.
"Well," said Surge, "You came the right place, kids.  But, my shipment of badges won't be here till tomorrow.  And that means no battle till then."
"Aw man!" said Jay.
"Anything going on in Vermillion today we can go do?" asked Shadow.
"I think the SS Tidal is in town, i think their showcasing something."

The trio went to the port, and bought tickets to the showing.  Once inside the massive ship, they went to the mini-museum.  inside were some rare items.  then, the guide said, "Everyone, Please gather around for the auction!"
people sat in chairs, ready to auction on these items.  for the fun of it, Max, Shadow, and Jay sat down, to see what there was.
there were several cool items, like ten thousand Casino coins and a complete Secret Base set, including an unlimited supply of Secret Power TMs.
then, something not so cool; "These 22 items are the rarest ever!" said the Guide, "They are as Follows: The Lightning, Fire, and Ice orbs, the Guardian Flute, a mysterious PokéBall used by a powerful, clone Pokemon, a pice of Mew DNA, pure water of the lake Suicune watches, a Time Flute, a Rainbow Wing, a brail translation tablet, Soul Dew, the Red and Blue Orbs, a Wish Tag, Unown tiles, a crystal meteor found in the Artic, and this meteor, said to be the essance of Rayquaza!"
"WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" yelled Max as he jumped on the stage.
"Sir, i'm going to ask you to take your seat."
"Shut-up!  I gave these items to a museum to display, not sell!  Do you have any idea what kind of mayham i went through recuing these from Lawrence?  If you dont hand these items over, I will take them!"
"SECURITY!!!!"
then, Team Galaxy members came in, lead by an admin.
"OH C'MON!" blurted jay, "WHY WONT HE LISTEN TO ME?!?!?"
Everyone, even Team Galaxy, stared at him.
"I DONT GET IT!" he continued, still in the dark on the subject.
Disguarding the subject, Galaxy sent out an array of Psychic and Dark Pokemon.
"Go Furret!" yelled Max.
"Aggron, let's move!" said Jay.
"Charmeleon, go!" yelled Shadow.
"Flamethrower!" they yelled in unison.
hot flames encompased the oppsing POkemon, and then, Max said, "Alakazam, go!"
"AALLLAAA!"
"Teleport us out of here with those items!"
"Ala!"
in a flash, the group was in Vermillion gym, with the items with them.
Surge walked in with his Pokemon, and said, "What happened?"
"Galaxy stole the items that reprsent the legendary Pokemon," said Max.
"And," said Jay, "They are still on the Tidal!"
"We should get back there!" said Surge.

They ran to the harbor, and the Tidal was gone.
"We're too late!" said Shadow.
"Totodile, go!" said MAx, "Go into the water, and see which way the current is going."
"TOTOTOTOTOTOTO!"
Totodile jumped in and went under.  several seconds later, he came up, and started pointing to the west, toward Johto.
"Alright," said Surge, "Rest up tonight.  I'll inform the Johto leaders the Tidal is heading their way.  Tomorrow, we'll have ourselves a gym battle."

After several days in Vermillion, The gang finally got to have a gym battle with Surge.

"Begin!" said the ref.
"Raichu, Magneton, Eletabuzz, go!" said Surge.
"Flygon, go!" said Shadow
"Shiftry, c'mon out!" yelled Jay.
"Alright Nidoking!" said Max. as he was about to finish, Max's Charizard came out of his PokeBall.
"CHARIZARD?!?!?!?" yelled Max.
"Max," said Jay, "Whats going on?"
"Back when Charizard was a Charmeleon, we lost our first match to Surge's Raichu. he kinda has a grudge."
"Men." said Shadow.
"Let the battle commence!" yeleld the ref.
"MAgneton, Lock-On and ZapCannon Charizard!"
Magneton took aim, and began to fire a ball of electricity at Charizard.
"Flygon," said Shadow, "Intercept!"
Flygon flew in front of its partner, and negated the attack.
"Raichu, Electabuzz," said Surge, "ThunderPunch!"
they flew at Charizard, the clear pokemon with the disadvantage, and Shiftry managed to knock Elctabuzz down with a small solar beam. then, Max said, "Thunderpunch!"
Charizard and Raichu's fists collided, and there was a massive explosion.
"Shiftry," yelled Jay, "Protect!"
Shiftry formed a shield around him and Flygon, and then Magneton and Electabuzz flew into the wall from the explosion.
"Volt Tackle!" yelled Surge.
"Blast Burn!" yelled Max.
Raichu ran at Charizard, and began sparking. as he drew near, charizard lobbed a tiny fire ball at Raichu. upon contact, a massive, firey explosion blasted the whole battlefield, even Flygon and Shiftry.
Surge's Pokemon were KOed.
"The challengers win witha quick victory!" yelled the ref.
Jay and Shadow ran to check their Pokemon, and Charizard also collapsed from the intense heat he had released.
"Nice job, kids!" said Surge as he handed them the Thunder Badge.
"Max," said Shadow, "That was one powerful Blast Burn."
"Yeah," said Max, "But its not his strongest attack. maybe one day, he'll pull it off again."
"I hope to that happen again," said Surge, "So i guess you'll head to celadon now, huh?"
"Wait," said Jay, "That's where Erika lives!"
Shiftry, now standing, sighed in anger.
"C'mon Shiftry! they have a bunch of pretty Grass pokemon there!"
"SHIFTRY!!!"
"Celadon Here we come!" yelled Jay as he and Shiftry ran out the door of the gym."
Max and Shadow followed, yelling, "WAIT UP JAY!!"

okay, sorry i havent finished chapter 4 yet. skool has been rough, and i've been preping for d/p. anyway, i didnt want this thread to go dead, and i will try to finish chapter 4 and 5 this weekend, sorrt again

Good to see the end. I love that Jay has a thing for the female gym leaders. I didn't think of him that way at first, but I like the idea (also Erika is my favorite gym leader). The banner is nice. I like that the shiny pokemon are in there too.
