I would go for HGSS base set but if you plan on running any of the new cards into a deck then go ahead

the starter deck from base set 1 with the 1st edition Machamp I used to love playing that deck with my friends at school however the first deck I made myself was a mixture of fossil Genger and dark vilplume and didnt work well because the lines wernt good and the surport was pritty fail too

looking forwards to the prerelease now :D some nice cards in the set

I prefer the old way they reverse holoed instead of the block colour of the card they do now but it dont bother me at all what the cards look like although having a reverse holo set looks kinda cool

Find someone you can play with (join a league or get a friend or realtive to play with you) then buy the theme decks from undaunted (the deck comes with 1 booster pack inside too) and use the instructions in the book provided to play! if your playing with a friend or relative obviously buy...

try ebay and troll and toad they normaly are prtitty good

4 years old? teach him how to play properly and see how long can he play a game without getting bored

^who's we? however strong the pokemon is there has always been a way to counter it. (donphan gets KO'd in 1 hit from a kindra using Stream pump so long as you return a energy to your hand) I didnt mean I wanted impossible to beat primes cards just ones that are stronger and faster to do (any)...

anything like the primes but with more HP and less energy attacks I will be happy with

Donphan with ERL is alot better IMO

mostly masters come to the league I attend you should be fine it sounds like from others posts that masters is the biggest group at leagues
