Well, how do you suggest we handle it then? You say this like you are the all knowing and almighty God here...obviously we have been TRYING new things to solve these problems, they just arent working. 7 Days is PLENTY of time to finish one banner, with hardly any restrictions. Xous can SCRATCH a banner in a week, don't tell me that you cant whip up SOMETHING in that time frame, if you cant, you shouldn't have joined in the first place. So by all means, tell me what you would do that I haven't.
Lol. Tell me BR. Who's the one running the competition here? Me? No, it's YOU. Who's the one who's kept this competition running for so long that there has been already 3 of them? Me? No again, YOU. And you're asking ME for suggestions? Here's my suggestion, GET ORGANIZED. Yes, I COMPLETELY agree, 7 days is WAY MORE than enough time to finish a banner. I know that, xous knows that, you know that, everyone who turned something in knows that. BUT THE ONES WHO DIDN'T, DON'T know that. So don't tell me 7 days is enough, tell the ones who don't care for your competition enough to turn something in.
What's so hard about giving the ON TIME Competitors our scores? Why can't you give us 1 week to finish, when that deadline hits, give the judges about 3 days to score (if it would really take your judges that long). Who ever didn't turn something in before the due date, screw it, drop them. If they missed the first challenge, what makes you think they'll be committed for a competition that takes months to finish?
Do I go around judging peoples works? Do I go around thinking I'm soooo good at banner making that I have to have my own competition to judge others? No. I give people ADVICE. And I don't say things like "You shouldn't have done this, you should have done this". I SUGGEST things that I myself would do, and they can use it my advice if they want. And for the most part, people PM ME. Not the other way around. So how the h/ll am I going around thinking I'm the almighty God?! If anything, YOU'RE the one going around thinking you're the best artist around, but I'm not going to get into that with you.
I agree, 7 days is enough time to finish a banner. Which is why I don't take all 7 days. Sure at times it takes me at the MOST 5-6 days to turn something in, but that's not because I take all 6 days working on it, it's because I don't do it until last minute. Because I KNOW for a FACT, that it won't matter if I get it in on time, because you'll just be giving others who DON'T turn it on time, extended time to finish.
My point is BR, that you ask us to finish work in on time. If we care about it, we do finish on time. So if you can't give us our scores ON TIME, don't be a punk to some of us about it who just ask for the same courtesy. We ask "Where's our scores?" only because that's the day it SHOULD have been given to us.

It dosent matter. As I went over before, seven days is PLENTY of time for ONE banner, so if stressing is involved, you probably don't have enough time for this. Project Custom Tournaments brings a higher level of competition to forums...higher expectations, nitpick scoring, but we do that for a reason. Competing in this tournament should not only be a privilege, but a commitment to turning something in once a week. Since MOST, if not ALL, failed to turn something in, as I said in my last post, WHAT IS THE POINT as far as judging goes? I judge three pieces per tourney and we move on? To what? The whole framework we spent hours crafting crumbles and you expect me to just throw it all away so you can get your banner score? I tried...I really did. I tried to bring you people something like no other, a you're blaming me for this? I don't think that is very fair at all.
Maybe "stressing" wasn't the right word. Actually, that's not the right word at all because this competition is NOTHING to stress about. All I'm saying is, you give us a due date for a reason. You want us to finish ON TIME. So why not give US the same courtesy, and give us OUR scores ON TIME? What's so hard about that? I get it, there could be 10 competitors, and 4 turn something in, and you don't want to judge only 4/10. Then the ones who don't turn something in, you can either drop them yourself, or deduct points. Seems like they don't care much for the competition anyways if they don't turn something in on time.
